Mine appears to be headed for a buyback. It’s hard but keep at it, save everything, and read up on all your states lemon laws.
If/when the buy back happens I will report back.
Skip Jeep cares/Jeep wave and get to the retention team.
What happened to yours? Same thing with the engine?

Had a p300 misfire that no one could diagnose. They took my engine apart and said the cam shaft was misaligned, “fixed” it and gave it back. 52 days in the shop was the third trip. It still doesn’t work.

This is where;
A- the factory magicians come down from MI and access the problem
B- FCA mans up and says put a motor in the vehicle
Which either will usually NOT happen, the tech will constantly put it on the computer, scan replace parts and hope the code goes away and send it out the door.....

They are actually putting a new engine in mine which I guess is good and hopefully solves the problem. I still have issues with that because I’ve lost confidence in my truck and don’t know how I feel about having a vehicle that I paid over 43000 for that has such a terrible maintenance record.

Make sure they recalibrate the throttle, and brake pedal. And they should reset the adaptive learning on the transmission. These issues crop up when these three controls get out of sync.

This is where I would be getting a 6yr 100K warranty and drive the wheels off it, its a new engine, don't loose confidence in the vehicle, crap happens and it can always go back to the dealer...

Hey Kathryn. I’ve already sent you messages that you haven’t responded to either, so I’ll pass on that. I’ve actually filed a lemon law complaint with the State of Texas and think I’ll seek resolution that way since attempting to get an answer from the dealer or corporate office has just never happened for me. Apparently, no one there thinks responding to a customer is an important part of customer service. I don’t know what to expect as far as the problems with the vehicle but definitely wouldn’t be as irritated if someone would just call me back.

At least you got a response to your PM. I only got that automated message and then nothing after that.

What kind of issues should I be looking for if they fail to do any of those things?

The throttle response will feel wither lagging or light switch like. The ESS light will trigger or the vehicle will shudder if the brake pedal is not calibrated correctly as that position is what turns on and off the ESS. The transmission should feel clunky at first it will need to relearn this engines torque maps and your driving style. Putting in a new engine on an old learn may cause the throttle to oscillate and throw ess lights or misfires

Of course this was days later after I was already "cased closed" and the case manager left me a message, tried numerous times to talk to this person with no return effort on there end!!! so, I gave up on @JeepCares, you can tell me you want to help, but when its time to help and there nobody home, gets a little old,

Anyone else having a problem with their Gladiators? I purchased mine brand new around Memorial Day and it's been in the service department almost half the time I've owned it. Been driving a rental for 30 days. Service is saying that it needs a new engine even before it's first oil change. I'm just wondering because the dealer has washed their hands of the situation and Jeep (corporate) is ignoring my complaints as well.
I am having this same issue. They have hung up on me a few times because they don’t want to deal with it.
