I’d bet on it.This totally explains why my Tesla’s fit and finish is so bad. All those workers at Fremont were probably high on pot
I dont know why I didn’t suspect this before. I guess I just expected factory workers to be disciplined enough to be sober like I am while on the job. But now it all makes sense.I’d bet on it.
I’m sure for the most part yes, but in much of blue collar work, this is quite common from my experiences.I dont know why I didn’t suspect this before. I guess I just expected factory workers to be disciplined enough to be sober like I am while on the job. But now it all makes sense.
Yeah, I can remember people saying back in the 80s that you didn't want to buy any GM that rolled off the line after lunch on a Friday.Old news, I know people that worked at a G.M. plant, they were high all the time, pot, whisky. They even took in outside detail work. They just didn't check the production units out. Now some are retired and still high.
I guess this confirms “Monday and Friday cars.”Yeah, I can remember people saying back in the 80s that you didn't want to buy any GM that rolled off the line after lunch on a Friday.
Your door jam sticker should have MDH (Month, Day, Hour) number that tells you exactly to the hour when it was built.I guess this confirms “Monday and Friday” cars.
Now we need to find a way to check to see if a car was built before or after lunch too.
Excellent!!!Your door jam sticker should have MDH (Month, Day, Hour) number that tells you exactly to the hour when it was built.

The favorite of some of the lushes that worked the shop floor at my work was the ones that carried the big “Bubba Mugs” or similar. They had their “Gin & Juice” or “Jungle Juice” mixed up sipping all day to keep the DT’s under control.Shit.......most of you guys never worked during the 70's. Guys would coming in high. Be even higher after lunch. Had one guy I worked with on afternoon shift, Ernie. Drank 5 doubles of whiskey before he came in to work. If he only had 4. He was a bear to work with. If he had over 5. He spent the time up against a pole until after lunch. Made my life hell for a while. If he only had 5. We put out the work.
Overhead crane operator Bill, would come back from lunch. First thing you did was to look at his eyes. If they looked like road maps, or he would bleed to death if he bent over. You didn't want him to lift anything for you. I've watched him unspool the crane a number of times. Because he forgot to take his thumb off of the down button.
If someone got hurt. There was zero drug testing like there is now.
