JL Wranglers and Gladiators share the same fenders.Roaming around today I got up close to 4 more stock Rubicons. Only two of them had the top of the fender sitting higher than mine in relation to the hood (like RMansfield's picture). One with painted fenders, one unpainted.
Three of the four were Wranglers though. Are the Wranglers different or are there just a lot of people around here putting stickers on their Jeeps? Maybe it bumps resale value to trick people with stickers?
On the plus side for my taste, the one gladiator was a near visual duplicate of mine other than the higher fenders, and I like the look of mine better. I'm unlikely to change tires until mine wear out, and even then maybe only bump to 34's, so it's not like I need the clearance
JK Rubicons don't have the high fenders.
Another easy way to tell the Rubi fender is the notch in the fender by the hood latch.
