Exactly what I stated to my service advisor, we walked over to a JLU Rubicon and felt the liner, then walked over to mine, and 2 service folks were amazed at the difference. I am betting that the ones Jeep

sent them to replace today are the JLs.....
I do know that the part number is different than the one in the catalog. I am betting you are correct.

Just picked up the JT....yep, they were told by Jeep to order and install the JL Fender Liners until a fix is made......they replaced both sides even though I only had issues on passenger side. They mentioned they know it tire sucking it in since there is a faint white "wear" line on inside of tire. Back in business and on the road,,,,,

Picked up mine today also. New ones installed. I think everyone’s assumption is correct. Mine does include some zip ties which I am not totally fond of but it should work for now.

@spenchey here is the thread that addresses the inner fender liners. Wondering if I can get the replacements on mine when I have the lift installed??

Mine didn't get the "special" zip ties!!!!! Might have to go back....hahaha. In truth, i do wonder why they zip tied yours, while mine not.....

The Gladiator has terrible front inner fenders. I have had the same issue at road speeds of it tearing up on the driver side.
I'm planning on changing mine out to metal.....

Is this happening on both sides? If a engineering design issue, I would think the problem would be inverse and happening on both sides. Would also think it would start popping up for other members who have also take delivery of a JT Rubicon.

I think there is more going on here to figure out root cause than to just say it is lousy engineering and failed product development.
Both sides of my 2020 Rubicon JT have done this. When warm they are very pliable and get sucked onto the tires. Waiting for Mr Jeep to reply on wjhat hes going to do.

Question. Ive had my JTR since Jun 1st. Has about 900 miles on it. Its been in the mid 90's here in oklahoma. Ive only had it on the hwy (70 mph +) for trips of about 20 miles. My fender wells seem flimsy but I have not had the hungry Falkin MT issue yet. Will jeep replace them preemptively, before it happens or do I have to wait until Im on a long trip in another state when they get eaten up? Any ideas? Suggestions?

I would go ahead and zip tie them in place.
Does anyone have a picture of this? I'm not opposed to doing it, but I want to make sure I don't zip tie it to the wrong part of the truck.

Is there a more rigid aftermarket option available yet to just change this out?
there are metal inner fender liners for jk and jl, probably coming soon if not fit our JT as well already.
