That thing is wild looking!!! Saw one locally built for sale at the Mecum auction but only one axel drove in the rear. Second axel not attached to anything. Just for show. I also notice this in the listing, which I can’t believe is right:

  • MPG City / Hwy: 22 / 28
I get 20/24 with my build with 1 tons, 6.5inch lift on 42s. I would say it might be a little high but still probably close to what it could get if you drive it conservatively.

Someone bought that thing for almost $165k, realized how awful it was and tried their best over 5 years to drive it as much as they could and still only 11,500 miles on it, bit the bullet and traded it in for probably $50k, and now it's being sold for $90k to the next sucker.

It must be the aerodynamics from the angry eyes grill.

I laughed when they called it a hellfire, and it’s still got a v6. I’d think it would have a hemi. I wouldn’t buy that for any money, let alone 90. Money pit with an angry grill. I’ll take mine in an apocalypse, over that thing all day.
At least it has the Diesel!

Also it DOES have BOTH rear axles driven, I have a pic on my phone I just haven't uploaded it yet.

But yes, money pit. Probably why it's sitting in the back of that dealer, not up front (would bring in more business if it was).

This dealer has been known for taking trades on almost anything to "make the sale" and in the past before they were bought out, they had a history of selling "less-then-reliable" vehicles they took in on trade. THIS dealer is also related to the family that literally advertises "we will never be beat on price and that's why we're the HIGHEST VOLUME dealer network in the state". I'd avoid this build like the plague unless you have 100k to throw away for fun (will probably get dealer traded to a western state).

I can’t imagine that thing moves very well. Even with the tiny diesel. I guess it depends on gearing.

Retired. Beach bum.
Good luck finding 15" wheels that will clear the stock brakes let alone portals. Not to mention how goofy 4" of lift and 35s will look and the fact that the portals gear reduction puts you in the 5.13+ range even with stock gears which would suck on 35s at freeway speed.
Ok if the portals have gear reduction and not much room, then a wheel sized accordingly is definitely needed, with tires large enough to not look “goofy”, but nothing looks worse than a set of 20+” wheels with low profile tires on any off road vehicle.

These things, which I have to see every day (the fabricator is immediately local), are the reason the word "tacky" exists. I mean, they are the vehicle version of the mullet and the t-shirt with the sleeves cut off.

This does NOT have portals.

Here’s the rear end pic I snapped the other day:
