These pics are not zoomed in. Couple it with the fact that it's rained like 10/14 days ive owned the truck and yeah it was missed. Also if it was an ice pick you'd see the cracks in the paint where holes are like papa said

Apparently, few have seen the results of teeny air bubbles in substrate - in the surface under the paint, or the effects of silicones on paint.
If it was my truck, I have access to really fine pins in my wife's quilting accessories and would likely "probe" to see how deep that goes - it's very possible there's a defect in the surface below the paint. Paint won't flow over tiny pin holes in a surface below. Anyone who has worked with fillers, "Icing" is one product, there are m any others, if there's not a perfect surface for the paint to flow onto, it won't cover over holes.
If there's any traces of silicone on that surface, or any oil from a finger, paint won't flow over it, it goes around it and pulls back from it, leaving a "hole" in the paint.
Usually silicones and oils cause a "fish eye" effect, larger than those. That looks almost like an imperfection in the surface below the paint.
Paint won't cover holes (and you don't want it to).

We found a small dent on the drivers side bed sheet metal when we picked ours up out of state after having an agreed contract. Ended up getting some accessories tossed in to compensate.

That’s nothing though compared to when we went to pickup our Bronco, which we’ve since parted with. Damage to the hard top, paint defects on the drivers door, a pillar, and tailgate.

I'm anxious to hear what they say.
Called two local dealerships. One flat-out refused since I didnt purchase the car there. The second would do the work but wouldn't provide a loaner since I didn't buy from them which makes sense.

Left a message at the purchasing dealership which isn't too far at 40 miles but with NY traffic is a terrible drive so waiting to hear back from them hopefully by the end of the day.

I bought a 2023 brand new, and after i got it home i found about the same thing on the freedom panels. Sarge Green, and also where they repaired, (not very well) a fender. Not as bad as your top, but noticeable. I ended up fixing it myself. I believe warranty will cover your repairs. Just bad craftsmanship for sure..

Easy to do ,I bought my Gladiator online because it was 4 hours away.It was the end of 2023 and I wanted the Overland trim and the one I bought was the closest to my area.

My response would be something like "and with a response like that, I'm very unlikely to ever buy from you" (and mean it).

That is the main reason I avoided buying one with a painted hardtop. @ShadowsPapa is right, that is a paint defect from bad prep when was painted.
Same here, especially since I knew I would be tossing them around, off and on. Most times I just put them in the back without the bag and strap them down to the front of the bed. It always seemed counterintuitive to me to make a removable part look pretty.

Sunrider.
Personally, the sunrider looks ridiculous to me. If I wanted canvas, or more ease of removing, I would just get a second soft top for it, which I have still highly considered.

Do you really think they care? I wish it were that way but in today's world I really doubt it.
No, but it feels good LOL.

There are dealers here who take on work on vehicles they didn't sell, hoping you do appreciate the service and buy from them. I've even gotten freebies from them - free work that should have cost me.

but there are the others - and some are so busy, they really can't be taking on work for non-customers without shoving the work for their customers down the road a ways - so there's that, too.

I have to wonder - over time, how will the black tops look after being in the sun for a while. Like other black trim? Dunno.
Maybe just fine. I know many have struggled with the cowl piece turning gray.
What's the non-painted top made of?
Does it scuff - and if it does, how do people deal with it? Ignore it?

I've had no problem with the painted tops, and I've tossed mine in the back a few times (and rushed to put them back on during a major massive storm event)

It's all in what people prefer personally.
