Gladiator as a work truck?

Just curious, is anybody using their gladiator as a work truck? I'm so used to seeing the f150 or big white vans used as a work truck, wondering if anybody is using their gladiator instead?

I'd love to see some pictures of it all set up with toolboxes, maybe a Laffer rack, etc.

I use mine as a work truck, but not in the sense that you mean.
I regularly commute as far as 3,000 miles with a bed full of tools & equipment for work.

Define work.

I’ve hauled, sand wood and pavers on a trailer.

I’ve hauled tools in the bed, materials too.

However these have all been small reno projects for me or my buddy’s house.

What type of work are you talking? I’m sure the Jeep Truck could do it, but it’s more a Swiss army knife when the job may fall for a machete.

I use mine for work. I have a RSI SmartCap on the back so that I can carry more stuff. The back seat and back end are loaded with a lot of stuff. The picture was taken soon after the cap was installed, it's much fuller now. I have different lights to put in it. The summer heat caused the adhesive tape to separate and the strip lights fell down.

My JTRD is my daily work truck. I'm a plumbing contractor who specializes in construction/ remodeling.
My previous work truck, an XLT F-150 has given almost 300K miles of mostly trouble free service. Let's say the Jeep feels built differently.

With about ½ the bed space I've had to maximize efficiency and loading and unloading consumes more time.

I don't have a rear seat delete which would afford more serviceable space.

I wanted a rack over Softopper and had to order an F-250 Adarac to get enough clearance to fold the Softopper forward when I need more bed space and to provide proper clearance over the cab's soft top.

The rack is offset so I can carry materials and still fold the soft top back.

A typical Friday after work means about an hour to unload and store the bed contents, remove doors, and put on hinge mirrors and I'm good to play for the weekend.

That's cool, you found the practical limit of volume I think.

I have seen a few around here used as work trucks. They are all lifted and vinyl wrapped. Not practical by any means but make a statement for sure.

When I worked construction many years ago our fleet was mostly Toyota pickups and Tacomas. We had a d250 and a Chevy 1500 for when we had to tow something. But those Toyotas were just fine 95% of the time with a ladder rack.

I use mine for work daily to haul tools, materials etc... I'm thinking of getting a ladder rack but not sure yet. RealTruck sells one that works with covers. For now, the foldable extension ladder fits in the bed. I can do anything my buddies tacoma can do and i get to drive a cooler truck than him. I guess it depends on what you need to bring for work though. So far, I have no issues with working out of my Gladiator. No pictures because everything i carry literally fits with the cover closed, you wouldn't even know it's a work truck to be honest.
