Haha a washing machine! That’s next level overlanding. Next we will need dishwashers and a dryer that run on propane.

I've currently got a flexible 100w panel but mounted in a aluminum frame I built for it, it's mounted on a set of low cost roof rails on cab area. The aluminum frame is visible on the picture in front of the awning.

I've bought most of my stuff through their eBay store. Sometimes they have really great pricing. Got 2 100watt panels (non flexible) for 86$ a piece and one 100ah LiFePo4 battery for 400$ delivered.

I got the 100amp LiPo battery for under $400 the 100w panel was $129 both brand new w warranty, not that I've not had good experience with ebay in the past. I picked up a good used AW-4 transmission for $300 or so. I've hardly bought any thing from ebay in years since some of the policies changes with ebay.

Nice. Debating on which charge controller for 400 watts and 200 total AH. I think the 40li MPPT controller should work. Thinking also on pulling the trigger on another battery

If I'm not mistaken mine is a 30amp MPPT controller. It's capable of operating with 3 100w panels at least but I'd not expect to get 100w from most panels listed as that. But surprisingly the one panel I have was de-rated on output and nominally produces over 107w
A question on what are you planning to run with this large 12v power system? A large inverter and power tools or air conditioner? More is better but does add more to cost and weight.
I just went outside to connect with my MPPT Controller to see it's current charge level. For example of what can be expected.
The second battery charge is the starting batteries, note that it is cloudy rainy here at sunset. Mine is running a fridge freezer full time and auxiliary lights in bed, GMRS radio, various other stuff. I'm passing this along so you can assess your power needed, many days the Renogy is just feeding power to the starting batteries not even the "house" battery.
FYI: my JT does have 2 solar systems running too. The Cascade 85w on hood too. I'm a function over looks for my stuff. So that's the crude plywood look recycled from the crate my RLD topper came in. ;) I do need to clean up the wiring some.

Well I've got a VL60 dual zone fridge freezer from Iceco. Led lighting eventually. For cold mornings looking at a 5kw diesel heater. I'm not hooking anything up to my Gladiator. Keeping the electronics separate from the solar system. I'll probably add some more stuff. Not sure at to what.

My fridge freezer is a bit smaller and off brand 54 size and I've got a D.F. heater but not going to be needed for awhile. :like:

They actually run on wine. They're called wife's and GF's.

Damn you got both and they get along with it.
Only in my dreams. In reality, my wifey would denut me with a piece of broken glass.

Alright, here's my idea on a solar/power system. It's a lot cheaper ($1,100) than a Jackery, can permanently fit on my small top, and should have plenty of power for a fridge, microwave and blender for those margaritas and nachos on rainy days!

Having a motorhome with solar panels. Go one or two sizes bigger on your wiring from the solar panel to controller to battery. You'll have less lost in transmission.

IMO don't take the risk with these super cheap Chinese batteries. Not to mention they don't put out their rated power.

Get something like a Battleborn.
