Has anyone had this issue?

When I shake the truck, I hear water sloshing around. I thought the water was in the cab but I think it's actually in the base of the hardtop (just beneath the window where the rear defrost wiring is housed). I think it is in this area because when I shook the vehicle, water dripped into back of cab behind the rear seat..... Thoughts?

BTW, Jeep dealer is doing nothing about it, but offering to sell me an aftermarket rear window for ~$500.

Contact another dealer, or your glass company.

The rear window leaking is a well known and talked about fact on here...
Even under warranty Jeep puts the same prone to leaking window back in.
My solution, I am having a solid glass back window made for my Gladiator.

This has been working for me so far (about 2 weeks). I tested it at a car wash and found no leaking and we’ve had some good rain as well. Simple, cheap solution. Takes 15 minutes - more if you go all the way around with it for a more OEM look. I just did the top half since I don’t really care about how it looks ha.

Solid video below for instructions. DONT push it all the way in, just enough to lodge it and create a seal between the glass and molding.

Mine was replaced under warranty 13 months ago and it's leaking again. I'm just going to put the silicone vacuum tube back in because it's more reliable.

Little confused... so is the outer edge of the window or the slider portion of the window leaking ? Your subject tag makes it sound like its the slider....

With removable rear window that won't leak after installation.
