Jeep as a whole was down 3% year over year. Much of the consternation and hesitation is due to model year changes in 2024 and higher MSRP and interest rates.

I was not part of this statistic...lol! I bought a 2023 Rubicon in June and squeezed the dealer.

Nothing official has been released from Jeep on the 2024 Gladiator. There has been a few threads of 2024 test mules caught in the public that seem to indicated at a minimum, it will be getting most of what was announced on the 2024 Wrangler to include the new dash, power seats and side air bags. Remains to be seen if the full float axle rear makes it's way to the Gladiator

Several of the slowest selling vehicles are Jeeps - it seems to be a pricing problem - the MSRP on the one I drive today was about 45k in 2020 - now the equivalent sport is 55K - combine the price increase with the high rates and it’s not surprising.

The jeep wrangler/gladiator are made to excel in circumstances that are not conducive to practicality, cutting fuel consumption, carbon emissions, and reduced environmental impact. It goes against the grain of every other truck and suv that has been feminized with soft rounded exterior design characteristics.

One might surmise that the jeep wrangler/gladiator is in the top tier of anti-woke vehicles. The 4xe models are produced just to keep the machine from canceling the brand altogether. ?

It doesn't matter matter who owns jeeps or what their ideology is. Jeeps are not good for the environment, even if it can go 50 miles without gasoline. There are much better earth friendly vehicles out there, for significantly less money. Jeeps are not practical for most US drivers but US drivers for half a century have said "fuck practicality" and that is why it sells today, because even if you are a hypocrite owner that believes fossil fuels are destroying the planet, you still want what you want.

You should at least think about suburu, which has excellent awd systems and gets better gas mileage. If you really cared about the environment you wouldn't own a wrangler or gladiator in my opinion.
