I'm trying to figure out why the Gobis move through the system so fast. Below is the build and ship trajectory of my White JTR: ordered 2/21, to be delivered 7/1, that's more than four months, and yours was ordered and delivered in less than three months. Odd.![]()
it’s here!
the white color is very popular, and a nice choice because it hides scratches well. but i bet you had alot of orders ahead of yours when you placed vs the gobi which was a color that was a late arrival this year. i ordered pretty shortly after it was available for orderingI'm trying to figure out why the Gobis move through the system so fast. You should be perfectly fine with +12 mm offset wheels. The -12 mm offset will push your wheels too far out which you said you didn’t want “a bunch of poke.”A quote from @cafecito in another thread got has got me worried if I missed something or not. I got the Kenda 35” tires then ended up getting some Rock Trix 17x9 with a +12 offset. Never considered the shock placement/size.
So did I get the right or wrong offset? Does anyone have any front on pics, or from above, that show the poke with a 17x9 wheel with a +12mm offset and a 35”x12.5 tire? How about a pic of same except -12mm offset for comparison sake?
I don’t want a bunch of poke, but I don’t want ANY rub.
Thanks

My order had no progress either until one day it just said it was fully built. I'm assuming it'll do the same thing with shipping lolStart of week 8, nothing yet.![]()
At least you got the most popular dealership possible to have one built and sent to, you got that working in your favor. ??My order had no progress either until one day it just said it was fully built. I'm assuming it'll do the same thing with shipping lol

where are the pics?! Are you adding an angry grille? ?I have it!!! I just picked mine up today! It got delivered last week when I was out of town of course. First line of action is get the aftermarket grill and sliders on and find a all metal bumper I like so I can get a winch on there and then get off-roading with this thing.
I have been less than impressed with Gupton since mine was delivered a week ago. No contact from them throughout the process or after it showed delivered. I sent 4 emails this week...2 of them with crickets. Finally got a response that they have a backlog of vehicles to work through and will contact me when they are ready...At least you got the most popular dealership possible to have one built and sent to, you got that working in your favor. ??
my jeep was delivered to gupton friday. daniel said it typically takes 48hrs to inspect and prep them and that he would contact me when ready to make a plan. im hopefully going to pick it up today. a week after delivery is a long time to sit without contacting you. but atleast we are getting a good deal i supposeI have been less than impressed with Gupton since mine was delivered a week ago. True on the deal part. Mine has definitely been over 48 hours! It arrived on 6/15. Makes me nervous that something is wrong with it that they are needing to fix.my jeep was delivered to gupton friday. daniel said it typically takes 48hrs to inspect and prep them and that he would contact me when ready to make a plan. im hopefully going to pick it up today. a week after delivery is a long time to sit without contacting you. but atleast we are getting a good deal i suppose
