Got quotes through CarMax and Carvana for my Vehicle sale. Carvana was $7k lower than Carmax for me as well.Carvana was $7,000 lower than other online places...... soured me. But then I can't sell this one and wait 2 months for another - I'm getting into show and swap meet season. Need the truck.
I was snooping around on a local dealer's web site (not the other ones around Des Moines, a different place, different corporate owner) and some they had 2K under MSRP, not many, but a few, and that caught my interest. Maybe they'll do better than MSRP. So I made contact, explained my thinking - and then told them what I was looking at and they right away said sorry, we only sell MSRP, we don't discount and don't do any affiliate program discounts. That was that, thank you for your time. No discount at all, no affiliate discounts - they don't do any of that. MSRP or nothing. That's like the dealer I bought through (until I told them I was walking away from the order......)
Any specific person at Gupton or just generic contact and they assign the next available sales guy like most do?
