The first time I turned on my halogen lights, I had to double check that I did it right because they were so surprisingly weak.

Honestly, the halogen lights shouldn't even be offered on the Jeep. Man they suck!

I installed Trucklite 7" leds with adapter brackets and have been very happy.
I turned my brights on the other night and my wife said "your headlights suck!"
Might try and go oracle soon.

When I replaced my factory lights, I initially tried replacing the bulbs with LEDs. Didn't work. A) no high beam and, B) the Jeep 'grill looking like diffuser thingy' they put inside the assembly really negated any extra beaming of the light from the LED. Did the same in the fog lights, but that was a complete success!!!

Again, go back to my earlier post and check out those lights from Amazon. Cheaper at $185 than the $500-600 or more, Oracles and are a direct mount to the factory mounting points. Basically, no muss, no fuss.

The hot wire for the angel eyes is such a simple hook up. Get a dual fuse adapter and use the J52 fuse (it's a switched circuit) to power them. Easy peazy.

Again, here they are.

Haha yep when I had the halogens in my wife was in the truck and said how the hell do you see anything with these lights. I can barely see out in front of the truck. Wasn't long after that I popped in some LED bulbs and then eventually move to the Oracles

I almost bought a Rubicon without LED, really glad I ordered, because that was something I absolutely wanted - plus the taillights look awesome

Do you have any pics? I am curious about how the 7 inch looks.

You can also get those taillights with the safety package. Then you just have to buy LED bulbs for the rest of the lights.

I prefer the plug and play options like Oracle. For the Amazon ones, do you just run a hot wire to the batter like an old school stereo setup or do you have to cut into the harness?

Make sure they are adjusted right. My 2020 Overland and current 2021 80th Anniversary were both adjusted waaaaaaaaay too high. After adjusting them down no problems at all. Wife had 2017 JKU, same for it, aimed waaaaay too high.

The Amazon are plug and play, unless you want the Halo's. Then you run a hot wire to the battery.
