Thanks for the STARS numbers. 2nd one might be a good one to have looked at, pin retention is a problem in any connector, workmanship!
they did that on my first gladiator. didn't do anything. except for added days to my lemon case lol.

I'm working with the dealer to find away to manually block the air from coming in. Will keep you posted.

So...

I found a "fix" for this over at the JL forums. It works. I went on a 4 hour drive in Beautiful Hot Humid Florida and did not once get the pocket of air. Only con is that you lose the option to change between in cab circ and fresh air. It stays stuck on which ever option you have set before you unplug it.

I know some of you guys use that feature and might no work but for most people that live in hot humid area will definitely not mind.

Its still unacceptable that @JeepCares still has done nothing to fix/correct this. (and no I'm not going to send you message. I did that with the last gladiator and one of listed problems on my lemon case was "A\C Issues")

I’ve had the same problem. Cool air from the dash vents and from the floor (I keep the control knob set to run a little cold air on my feet), but then there is suddenly a heat wave across the front seats (vents still blowing cold). The only thing I’ve noticed is that the plastic below the steering wheel gets very warm and then cools back off. I currently have 55,000 miles on my 2020 Gladiator and have only just started having this issue. The only thing that I can think of is that I pulled the rubber plug from the driver’s side firewall to run my KC light harness, but that doesn’t explain it being an intermittent problem.

I unplugged the connector behind the glovebox. I’ll reconnect it in the winter

Since its summer here in FL and we've tripping to Tampa to Ormond, beach rides, we noticed this again, I think I'll pull the plug this weekend, but we also ride with the sunrider back and the rear window removed, definitely not as noticeable.....

Same problem on our Gladiator, but since the window leak and the random misfire issue - we will pick our issues for Jeep to sort out - seems more than one at a time have proven too difficult for them.

Resurrecting a thread from the past. I am in the market for a Gladiator (have been for a while). I have a Ram that has weird AC issues so I was wondering about the same problems in Jeeps. I notice this thread went dead last summer (July 21). With no more "me too" posts I was wondering if this problem has been fixed by Stellantis for newer model years.

They addressed it with a TSB to reflash the HVAC software. Anything after May 2021 should have incorporated it when built from the factory. Before that, it would be on the owner to get it done and would only covered by the 3/36K bumper to bumper warranty if still valid or it was a customer out of pocket expense to have it done.

If buying a vehicle built on or before May 2021, you would need to have a dealer verify if the TSB was done through a service record or software part number for the HVAC controller verified by a scan tool.
