Heated Shifter Knob (6 speed) install?

My factory knob is deteriorating from sweat and use. I’d like to replace it with a heated knob. Anyone have a lead on such a luxury item?

I used to have a license plate frame that said that. It was hilarious sitting at stoplights and see kids behind me start busting up laughing, then remembering they just read my plate frame.

For knob heaters (phrasing!), I have no idea.

I do know that USB-powered "mouse hand" warmers are just a little USB-powered pad inside a cheap polyester "glove." Because I got one years ago. The pad is about 3"x2.5", maybe a little bigger.

Search on AMZN reveals no such item. So create at your own risk:

I recently put a billetworkz knob in my winter daily Subaru and it made an impressive improvement in shift feel but considering your average manual doesn't have remote start it really is a pretty uncomfortable experience. At least up here where that aluminum shifter knob is -25°f, that shift knob doesn't warm up for probably 40 minutes anyway.

I used to always makes fun of heated mirrors and steering wheel until I got them... a heated shifter knob seems like a fun home brew project. Get something like @MPMB listed above and have a shop or a bro machine a slot in the bottom of the shift knob in a circle around the shaft and shove her in there. Haven't seen a shifter in a Jeep as new as a JL or JT but I imaging the wiring wouldn't be too unsightly just to get from the knob to the boot. Wrap it in black heat shrink.

Just need to make sure you give it enough slack underneath to not fatigue the wires

To add... I knew a guy who's brother made him an aluminum shifter knob for his VW racecar. Then he ran it on his street car and he was like, nope. Too dang cold and it was in "temperate" WA. Maybe 1 or 2 weeks under 20*.

Now that I think about it the shift knob probably warms up faster in the Jeep, since the shifter shaft goes directly into the trans. I imagine. It does on older Jeeps
