Hell of a deal on a Truck Tent $25

I'm tempted but at 6' and change not sure that any tent for this truck's bed is going to be ideal for me. They seem to make quality products, hope y'all will let us know when you get yours how they work out and hold up.

You should be fine. I'm 6'1". The tents are designed to use the tailgate for added length.

Mine was $39 with shipping to my door.
Here is the note from Napier:

“...tent comes complete with a Rainfly, it is a brand new tent in the box - this run of tents came from our manufacturer with an incorrect coating on the fabric which is causing the fabric to stick together and if it is pulled apart too quickly, the coating will peel off taking the Camo pattern with it leaving a see-through spot on the tent (we have tested these tents and as long as the rainfly is on it, the rain should not come through into the tent but if it does we suggest to spray it with a water resistant coating or keep a spare tarp with you).

it took me about 45 minutes to slowly unstick the tent. As described above, when you have it up and look from inside the tent, you can see lots of little “skylights”. I plan on using the rain fly... and just carry a camo tarp with me just in case. If a heavy rain is expected, I’ll just throw the tarp over the tent, then the rain fly on top.

Keep in mind the tent was not strapped to the truck in pictures below. (Might have to get a little creative with the straps because of the way the keep fenders are shaped. )

With the "compact short bed" out of stock, any idea how a full size short bed (5.5-5.8, 19133) might work? Wondering if anyone might have past experience with other brands/models. Thanks!

Mine arrived today. Black stuff is stuck together in spots and pulls away when you open the tent. No biggie as it isn't a hole and it comes with a rain fly.

Just got mine from Fedex last night, and set it up in the living room since it was raining out. Pulled real slowly but still have plenty of little spots like others have shown. Not too worried, since the rainfly seems mostly sealed. Thinking maybe a couple coats of plasti-dip may work to keep a good seal in the tent?

I think I might try the longer one, it’s only a few inches longer surely it’ll work. Did anyone ever respond to your question if it had been tried before?

I'm sure the longer one will work, but the door will most likely wrap around the tailgate. All of the buckle straps are adjustable so you shouldn't have a problem there. For 40 bucks it might be worth a shot!

Didn't hear anything but I figured at that price I'll just order one to try. It should be arriving today, can't wait.

I'll share some pics once I get a chance to set it up. Lots of rain these days so it might take a while.

I have the Rugged Ridge hard rolling cover and wonder if the longer model might help shift things around for a better fit. Wishful thinking... : P
