pencil eraser works well at taking wax off of black trim that is hard to wash off, I’m not sure about the bed liner.

Mr. Clean magic eraser works too. I've also used WD-40, and it works too

In the past I have used Vegetable oil on a rag to get wax off plastic. Not sure if it would work on the bedliner, but it might since the wax is oil soluble.

I use the white Staedtler Mars Plastic erasers. They are soft & squishy. Use them dry or even with a little of your favorite quick detailer. They work awesome on the black plastic bumpers & fenders. After use, follow up with a quick detailer and/or your favorite spray wax to remove any residue.

Watch out for those Mr. Clean magic erasers. They have a mild abrasive in them and can leave a dull looking spot.

Yep, as I stated earlier erasers work well. I think it’s a clean and effective way at removing wax on black trim.
