Congrats on the find. I know how it feels. About a year before buying my 80th anniversary I test drove one and really liked the subtle 80th details. I thought this would be the one only if I could find one when I was ready to make a purchase.
Fast forward a little over a year later, I sold my 2010 JKU to a neighbor and needed another Jeep. As luck would have it, I found a low-mileage one locally where the previous owner had the Mopar 2" lift and metric 35s already installed.
We've taken it on long trips and love everything about it.

The brisket sammiches are worth the drive.

in fact two of my friend and I are now planning a silly 2.5 hr road trip to go to the nearest one because they’ve never experienced the brisket.

or the nicest gas station bathrooms in the world- which if you have the brisket burrito it may be a chicken and egg thing but who’s counting?

From my understanding, the seats get more comfortable as you move up through the trim levels. Our Rubicon seats are comfortable, but I've heard others say that the Mojave seats are even better.

I just remember needing to turn up the fan to keep the cab warm when the ambient temps were in the teens. There's not much cab insulation in the Gladiator like there is in our Ram 1500s. It kept us plenty warm, but we had to keep the heater fan blowing hard to do so.

Also, there was a lot of wind on the way home, so we both agreed that the road/wind noise was a little daunting after 15 hours straight. I do like a quieter cab if I'm going to be in a vehicle for a long period of time.
I've got the premium leather seats in my JTR, and I think they're very comfortable.

Regarding interior temps & noise, Hotheadz headliners will help tremendously. No matter HOW hot or cold it gets, fan speed #3-4 is plenty for maintenance temperatures.

This is a community of people that in spite of their differences- cultural, ethnic, regional, political, religious, what have you - unite under one common theme:

We're nuts.
If you think about it, that's about as American as it gets. šŸ‘

Thank you. I will certainly take that into consideration.

ā€œMost patriotic brandā€¦ā€

I feel sorry for some of y’all that think buckees brisket is good. It’s edible on a roadtrip, but y’all clearly need to spend more time in the south and try some real brisket.
It is by no means the best brisket I’ve ever had or will ever. But in a sea of shitty road trip food it is a shining city on a hill.

…however the bathrooms are the undisputed GOAT. Having plopped in such varied climes as CA Central Valley off brand truck stops and NJ Turnpike ā€œrestā€ stops where ā€œprofessionalsā€ pump your gas, I’d prefer a pit toilet in a national park backcountry trail over most highway side porcelain conveniences. When one must go, he does.

But I’ll hold it for 250 miles to take a shit at the Beaver signed spot.

I have spoken. 🤣

I agree on the bathrooms and I wouldn’t mind going more often if they just had some damn windshield washing stations.

You think anyone buys that art work for sale in their bathrooms? Lol

On the windshield washing stations: emphatically YES! The bug massacre on the windshields in the South are legendary. Why??? Not every Buccees has a 1/4 mile long carwash…

on your other point:

Nah, they get them from their friend’s wife on Etsy.

I believe the one just completed in Tennessee is the largest one ever built. Of course they may be implying large by how many gas pumps, idk.

You are correct, 5 actually but none in Nashville! There is however one in Murfreesboro which is a neighboring county.
