Driving conservatively sometimes might hinder your performance to be honest. You need to get some heat in the exhaust system for it to do its job with burning the soot out. I get on the freeway like it’s a drag strip and I’m not trying to lose the race against the 93 Accord next to me. That gets the egr nice and high and then once I reach speeds I jump to cruise control as soon as possible. Around town, same thing, I like to romp on it here and there, get sideways around corners in the rain sometimes. I’m not what you’d call conservative by any means, and I’m generally 21.5-22.5 on heavy 37s.Most trips are min 30 minutes. I drive conservatively.
