I purchased iDash part# 66550. Installed it.

I cannot find DPF soot load level to read DPF status.

I just realized there are SuperGauge and DataMonster version.

Is there any difference between the two?

I purchased one and couldn’t find the setting either. It went dead on me and Banks replaced it’s now it is under the emissions category. I bet there is a software update that will fix that for you.

Here is an update. I went to setting and there was a portion of the setting where zi can specify engine type and now I see the DPFSL parameter in gauge selection.

@krweatherl What is difference betaeen DPFSL vs DPFRG? Not sure I have seen DPFRG parameter..

DPFRG shows the regen status as off/passive/active
The way it works on mine is when the exhaust temperature is to cool it shows ā€œoffā€ solid, once exhaust temperature gets up the ā€œoff/passiveā€ flashes alternating, when it goes into an active regen the ā€œpassive/activeā€ flashes alternating.
I also set an alarm for active regen that flashes a yellow badge when it’s in active regen. The alarm setting has 2 parameters, a ā€œ1ā€ or ā€œ2ā€, 1 is passive regen which happens anytime the system is up to temp, 2 is active regen which is only when the DPF reaches 80% or around 800 miles, which ever comes first. Mine almost always goes into active regen around 800 miles because the % doesn’t get to 80% first. If I do a lot of town driving the DPF % rises rapidly, then it will trigger an active regen at 80%.

@krweatherl Thanks for the reply.

I see that your DPGRG shows percentage in your picture?

My gauge shows DPGRG and DPGSL shows same value in percentage?

I misspoke, DPGRG is %, I think DPGSL is the same reading, I only use one of them. The REGEN pid is the regen status I was describing. Sorry

Just installed a Bank Idash data pro w/ firmware 1.07, firmware 1.07 sucks, doesn't have all the PIDs. (read somewhere on a Wrangler post Banks screwed up the software with the later versions, I call Banks to ask what the deal is)

Ended up downgrading the firmware to 1.04 because the change log had this:
  • Jeep-RAM EcoDiesel vehicle-specific support
  • Jeep-RAM additional support: Transmission-Gear and PedalMonster Reverse Safety (added Jeep JK)
and with 1.04 firmware it seems to show all the pids the website has listed. The big red flag for me was some of you guys were showing DPF Soot Level percent but the newer firmware didn't have that, only DPFRG% which might be the same.

What is the best PID for EGT? There are several, EGT11, EGT12, EGT13. I have it set to EGT11 cause the description sez it's pulling temp right before the turbo, but not sure that is the standard RGT everyone talks about.

What other gauges are good to show, i am kind of new to this, and this is what i have currently but wasn't sure if there are other critical values I need to watch.

I use the turbo inlet and turbo outlet temps.

The turbo vane command and turbo vane position might come in handy if you think you have a turbo problem.
