If you could pick the hood, standard Sport style, Rubicon or Mojave?

TV on outside wall with dense insulation and vapor barrier - I'd have to open up the wall to get wires through. How do I know? I've tried. I've wired houses and commercial buildings and this house is the most difficult I've seen to fish wires through. But the guy I bought from was a contractor, he built it for himself. Anyone who has ever worked on it cusses and swears because if 4 nails would have held something, he used 7. Floor joists - 12" centers.

Doesn't Trex decking require 12" joist spacing? Thought I was told that. I did 16" with the standard 3/4" decking my self. But I used 3 deck screws per joist, not the standard 2. Remember crown side up!

Bought a Sarge green Mojave on the condition that the dealer would swap the Mojave's hood for Sport hood once a Sarge green Sport was on his lot. Dealer agreed. Two months later, I swapped out the super-heavy, fake-vent Mojave hood for the classic Sport hood. I am extremely happy! And so is the Sport owner with his Mojave hood.

Just hope now you don't find some new CAI that is designed to make the fake scoop a working piece, and you really want it!

That hood swap from what I hear is not just a simple take yours off put the other on. The cowels too.

I bet it looks nice though. You will screw with some. They may think your a Mojave wannabe.

If the Mojave hood did something functional I would appreciate it more, same as the Rubicon. As they don't, my preference is the Sport. That said, I don't care too much about the hoods, and I doubt I'll swap when my Mojave arrives.

Nicest hood I’ve seen this far on a JL or JT. Aluminum or steel? I like it, but $1,500 is tough to swallow for me. Love it though.
