For those of you who have installed the Mopar 2” lift in your driveway or garage with a jack and stands, how did the install go and are there things you would do differently the second time around. Most videos online talk more about the lift than the install and even fewer do it with a jack and stands.

Not so much to do differently, but a set of coil spring compressors help. Remove/loosen as much as you can to allow the axles to droop to get the springs in. Loosen the control arms and track bars, and I found it helpful to pull the speed sensors on the front. Remove the brake line bracket from the front two spring perches so that you can get the wrench/nut onto the bump stop. I zip tied the bump stops inside the springs so that when muscling the springs onto the seats, your not fighting the bump stops.

Use a 4 inch c clamp to hold the bump stop extensions, you have to put them in the spring before mounting so they slip and won't tighten after the springs are in.

Did you up installing the lift yourself? How did it turn out?

I haven’t gotten my gladiator yet. Still not sure if I want to tackle it myself.

Mine wasn't bad. Only thing I wish I had was a bigger impact to break things loose. Smacked my hands a few times. Other than that, pretty smooth.

Just finished mine yesterday. The biggest PITA is the LCA bolts both on and off. These killed my cheapo electric impact so I had to go spend another $200 for a better one and even them some of them are hard to access. I've done lifts on torsion bar and IFS trucks of mine in the past. Granted this is my first Jeep so much of it was a learning curve.

Would I say "easy" as some have mentioned, no I would not. However, I asked a few questions in a thread I made similar to this one and a few members gave me great pointers, check that out before you start to save a lot of time and heartache.

The biggest fight was getting the springs in - rear was worse than the front. Got my wife to stand in the axle to help push it down.

That's odd, I thought the rears went in no problem. I did have the axle stretched far down though, the springs slid right in.

I did mine alone in my driveway. It took two days. It tired me out.

I’d recommend a long torque wrench. A full two foot long one.

I had coil spring clamps, but didn’t use them.
I used a ratchet strap to line on the axle for the last bolts. I ended up cutting it because I couldn’t un latch it.

just started this today, I've done rubicon spring swaps on JLs and they went in so easy, this was hard and only got the rears done....biggest challenge was getting the rear springs in (the mopar lift springs are really a lot longer), hopefully the front goes smoother.

really a nice setup though the shocks are enormous

the other thing that was tough was keeping the rear isolators in the right position while trying to get the springs in, that was tough
