New to the forum. Currently drive a 2018 Toyota Tundra and seriously considering trading for a Gladiator. I actually have a really good offer from a dealer now. But here is why I am hesitant. On this forum there is over 20 pages of complaints and issues. Are the Gladiators that bad? Should I reconsider. This will be my first Jeep. Any advise?
Love it! Most fun and practical vehicle I've ever owned. I can't stop driving it! Getting the steering box replaced soon. Otherwise happy and no other issues. 2400 miles.

Love my Gladiator Mojave. . . . Steering box on order and will be installed the 18th. . . . .It will be perfect after that installation is complete. . . . . Sold a 2 door 2011 Wrangler and a 2016 4x4 Siverado and purchased my Gladiator. . . . I could not be happier. . . .

The original question based on the subject or title is below - very few would answer yes. Most, such as myself, would say no, I am very happy with it. You didn't give enough choices LOL

Love my JT...I actually sold my dream truck project to buy my JT and build it how I want it. My old project was a 1962 International Harvester Travelette crew cab I was putting a 6BT Cummins in. It was a 4x4 manual getrag. Would have been an awesome truck and a dream to have an old crew cab but the JT offered more....it was complete, a truck, a Jeep, a convertible and also can still get a manual transmission. More time with the wife and kids enjoying the Jeep rather than wrenching in the garage. I guess my dreams changed and now enjoying driving my dream truck everyday.

I have to say I have been really happy with the purchase (about 1,000 miles in). Best of all worlds so far!

- Is it a truck? Yep
- Is it a convertible? Yep
- Is it a Jeep? Yep
- Can you get as little or as much tech/ luxury as you want? Yep
- Can you take off the doors? Yep
- What about nearly endless aftermarket options? Yep
- Do total strangers wave at you when you’re driving? Yep

I owned 2 Tundras and still own a sequoia. I traded a crew max 4wd in for my gladiator and don't regret it a bit. I've had a bunch of jeeps(some at the same time as the trucks), but having a vehicle that can do all the truck things I need, and be a Jeep with Offroad prowess, was perfect for my family.

27,000 miles in and still love it more than any previous vehicle. Not a single complaint.

Owned 2 Grand Cherokees, no trucks

First truck purchase and while it isn't as luxurious as my loaded GCs, it has more utility when I made the move from CA->AZ and bought a house.

I love this truck, but my only complaint is the steering gear, which FCA has recognized and has a replacement for it.

The Wrangler platform is like the Glock platform. .. But I'll never own a Glock (that's for another story lol)

I have now had my Gladiator for a year and two months. I ordered mine the first day they opened up ordering after the launch additions were through. I got mine on June 17th, 2019, and took off on a 6 month road trip of 23,000 miles starting in Houston, Texas.

After traveling to Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Montana, through Canada to Alaska, up the Dalton Highway to Deadhorse / Prudhoe Bay, and then all the way back to Washington State, the Pacific Beach area, then across Washington back to Montana, then Yellowstone, Moab, back to Las Vegas and then to Texas.

I had zero issues, one crack in the windshield while crossing into Alaska from the Yukon, oil changes and tire rotations in several different states, and one of the best trips ever. All my camping gear fit in the bed with the hard cover, and I had. It one complaint about the vehicle except the damn start/stop crap bothered the hell out of me, lol.

This is my eighth Jeep vehicle in a row. I traded in a 2012 Rubicon JKU with 153,000 miles on it and I could not be happier. That’s been my experience so far. I now have 34,600 miles on it, still no issues.
