Sounds like you cancelled and asked for deposit back and they are shipping it anyway, perhaps for the best, when it arrives you can talk about changing your mind for the right number. It does sound like you are done with Jeep though, do you really even want it anymore?
Well good luck, I hope it turns out that you end up happy either way…..Jack

Dealer has just informed me the truck has been "dispatched for a load"...

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I find it mildly coincidental that after 22 days on the shipment lot, the truck gets shipped once I ask for my deposit back.

Again, you guys all tell me not to take this personal, but with current incentives ending on 1/16/24, it's hard to believe Jeep wasn't sitting on a sold order on purpose in order to avoid granting me the 15% off MSRP incentive.

Time will tell what happens with incentives after the 16th.
Encouraging news!

I see on the e-shop yours is noted as "In Transit" was it previously in that status or did it just recently change?

It's been "in transit" since 12/22. I think what that really means is it's built and released for shipping.

At this point if I can lock in at 15% off MSRP I'm going to do it.

These things are showing discounts of $14K off sticker all over the place. Granted the Jeep site is only showing 192 Mojave's nationwide with a Manual Tranny but it might be worth doing a search, seeing if there is something you can accept that isn't quite what you want but can live with for 14K less and buy one and worry about getting it home later. For 14K you can fly anywhere in the country and drive it back and still have 12 K in your pocket!

Just curious what special options you added that were deal breakers?

The one below for example is in Lebanon PA which is pretty drivable from NJ.

After this experience, you think I want to order another Stellantis vehicle?
You are not unique. Other brands and their customers have their own shit shows. There is people who have ordered Ford Mavericks and Bronco's pushing two years in a few cases waiting on their orders. First year, Ford automatically rolled their orders into the next year with price protection. 2nd year, they basically cancelled any unfilled orders and told people to resubmit another order with no price protection.

Stellantis does not care if you stay or leave.. Another rube off the street will replace you or somebody else from another brand getting the same crap treatment will come over to replace you

I had the same issue, back in 21. It was shipping out early and that day they held it because of the M/T software update. Sat in the shippers lot for weeks! No one could do anything, it goes to a contracted shipping company and till they had a full truck going to my area it sat. Couldn't pick it up directly, couldn't do anything. This was when there was a server trucker shortage. Good luck.

@JeepCares I ordered my 6MT Gladiator Mojave nearly 12 months ago, on 2/1/23 through @Koons_of_Tysons_Corner.
My truck did not begin production until 12/5/23 and was marked as "built" on 12/22/23.

From there, Jeep decided to put my truck in the lot (Toledo - Nitro Creek).
I thought sold orders were supposed to take priority? The General Sales Manager at Koons has been in touch with the factory, trying to get them to ship the truck, but for some reason, this is going nowhere. The truck has been on the shipment lot for 20 days. Meanwhile, Koons receives dealer inventory on a regular schedule.

Has anyone experienced anything this absurd? I'd been waiting for my damn truck for nearly a YEAR, and Jeep has continued to prioritize EVERY other order over mine. I understand Stellantis has thousands of vehicles to manage daily, but how can it be possible that they have consistently screwed me and my sold order over on every possible occasion?

There are members in this forum who ordered a 6MT Gladiator in AUGUST (6 months after me) and received theirs in late December.
This is complete nonsense.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any advice? I'm at the end of my wits and I'm preparing to just cancel the order and ask for a refund.
Ordered a Ram Diesel and it was delivered to a transit storage lot after 5 months with no keys. Dealer called set up another truck to pick it up and they were going to rekey it. Ram would not allow it releaased to dealer. Sat for a month and gave up the truck for an in stock diesel in 2022.

I would demand my deposit be returned to me and cancel the order.

Then if/when the Jeep shows up at your dealer I would wait a few weeks and go back and renegotiate the deal. What's it going to hurt now.

I would hope that the OP didn't put a deposit on this unit. I have ordered 4 vehicles from my CDJR dealer in the last 15 years and have never had to put a deposit on a factory order. Just a handshake. I have a very good relationship with them.

After nearly a year of waiting, I can't see the OP's dealer holding their funds if they back out at this point.

Dang, I know that is frustrating. I'm seeing 2024 Gladiators on lots already. Must be something more going on than what it seems . Hope it all works out. I was so pissed when my Mojave that I ordered in July came in the first week of Dec and rebates dropped from 10% off to 6% . Then they went back to 10% and on the 19th when I went to sign they jumped to 15% . Hopefully they will stay through the end of the month at least.

There is no way I would take that Mojave , something is wrong there. Refuse the order if deposit. Get it back and switch to a different dealership.
Sometimes the problem is in dealerships.
