You should be fine with 3.73s and 33” tires. I changed out the 255/75 (32.1”) tires that came on my new Willys with Rubi spec 285/70s (32.8”) KO2s and the performance is excellent even at our altitude. I corrected the Speedo for tire size and it hits the top two gears without hunting. This is my daily driver and will never get bigger tires, but from experience with my JK and 37s, if you’re going to go big on tires go deep on the gearing. With 35s on a JT ID GO 4.88s, giving me the space to go 37s when the inevitable urge hits.
