Back in 2004, when I bought my 1999 TJ I threw a #" lift on and 33" tires and thought that was cool. Until I started seeing them with 35's. and everyone saying " don't put anything over 33" on the Dana 35's" hence the 33". But I soon found out the Jeep had the c clip eliminator kit and chrome molly axles. Point is Put what you want on the first time.Back in the day, I remember 35's were considered huge lol! In 88' when I got my 84 CJ10 it had 35 super swampers with alcoa rims and a friend wanted to trade what to me looked like 40's? I said nope, way too big! Now here I am today using 40's like its 35's lol. I ran 40's on my JKU with 5.13 gearing for a few years and loved it. I told myself I won't add 40's to the JT, but I knew I was lying to myselfBack in 2004, when I bought my 1999 TJ I threw a #" lift on and 33" tires and thought that was cool.
