Looking for ideas from members on what you all have done for rifle storage in the cab? Key points I need are secure mounting options, easy in and out, preferably 2 guns. Tell/show me what you have done and how it worked out.
Thanks

I live in NYC (yeah yeah, I know), so I need to have my rifle in a part of the vehicle that's NOT accessible, and separate from ammo.
When I get my truck the only place I can transport is under the seat, and ammo either locked up front with me or somehow out back.

I would say the storage compartment under the rear seat should hold a couple of long guns. But, if they have scopes it will get tight in there.

My long guns are mostly competition shotguns so they are transported broken down in hard cases. There is no good place in the cab other than the back seat (good thing it has the extra tint). I added a backflip hard cover and with the addition of a 2x4 for cargo restraint, they are presently going in the back. Long term I plan to add a roll out gun drawer so by next season I’ll have safe and secure storage.

Not long enough for anything beyond shotguns, even with the cans pulled.

my vote is for a rear window gun rack like the farmers of days of old.
I don’t farm but I did have a rack on my back window in high school. Had gunsmith class and actually brought shotguns to school for class.
