Looking for LED Headlight Upgrade Suggestions

I have a 2021 Mojave with halogen headlights that I'm thinking of upgrading to LEDs. I've already swapped out my stock bumper for the Mopar stubby Rubicon bumper with LED fogs, and have a Tazer to recognize the switch from halogens to LED. So that shouldn't be an issue when I go to do the same for the headlights themselves.

I'm looking for a simple (and hopefully not too pricey) plug and play option - no halo/DRL's, no integrated turn signals, or anything that changes into 20 different colors. I'd prefer a direct replacement for the entire headlight, as opposed to just dropping an LED bulb into the halogen housing. I'm basically just looking to upgrade to a whiter and brighter light than the stock halogens, without anything extra/too crazy.

Anybody have any suggestions or recommendations that might fit the bill? I'd also be open to getting headlights that do have halo DRLs and not tapping into my fuse box for the halo component, but the ring for the halo would have to be pretty thin around the edge. Has anyone gone that route, and if so, what're your thoughts?

I have the Morimoto’s but haven’t installed yet as I’m saving for a Tazer to change from halogen to led. What would happen if I installed them without the tazer change? Would any damage happen?

warning message on the dash. the fix (other than Tazer) is a resistor for each one to make the computer think it's halogen.

I've been running the Oracle Bi LED headlights for a few years now. Haven't had any issues with them yet. Not the brightest on the market but I also don't have people flashing their lights on me.

Check out the Oracle Oculus Bi_LED Headlights for a great beam pattern and no glare above a very clean cutoff.

I just installed these led bulbs in my headlights and fog lights and I am very impressed with how much light I got out of them, and less than 100.00 bucks for them.

Oh yeah they are on my list. Not sure about the fog light, that’s a whole nother issue. See fog lights are designed for low intensity illumination so as to not reflex back off the moisture particles that make up fog, plus decidedly placed an aimed low to only illuminate the lines in the road, that are actually called fog lines. So the original fog lights are doing just that, I’ve found mine work very well in the pea soup fog we get in Florida at night, so I’m not too sure if I add LED’s to the fog lights if they will be too bright and blind me. The other type of illumination I appreciate the fog lights enhance are driveway entrances and turn offs in dark areas.

You’re spot on about why your halogen fogs feel effective — their warmer color temp (~3200K) scatters less, so you get less back-glare in true fog. Most white LEDs push 5500–6500K, which will reflect more and feel harsher, especially to older eyes. If you ever swap, going amber/yellow (~2700–3000K) LED is the closest match to halogen performance in inclement weather, just with the efficiency and output benefits of LED.

I went with MP concepts full housing LEDs. The low beam light is better than stock LED, with a sharp cutoff, no flashes from other drivers. The high beams are meh. The housing construction is at least on par with stock led, and seems to be lasting very well after 15 months in Canada. The HALO ring on them def isn’t for everyone tho.
If I was doing it again, I’d get knock off LED replacements from rock auto. Before Tarriffs they were $250 a side. See the images below, one is my headlights, the next is the rockauto price list.

I’m running Diode Dynamics Elite LEDs. They are expensive but if you wait until one of their many sales it helps. Mine were 20% off during a Black Friday sale a couple years ago and worth every penny

New member here and just bought a 2021 gladiator willys in white about a week ago and it came with halogen headlights...I ordered a set from Amazon that look exactly like the OEM LED headlights ...very good quality and very happy with them...only 400 bucks for th pair...currently there are only 4 sets left from the seller...below is the link to them....
