Did y'all notice there is a difference in the casting. Some have a "KOA" some have "KOB"

That is likely just a casting mark for the housing - 'A' would be for mold #1 and
'B' would be for mold #2.

Hello all, just for the record,
I Picked up a 2020 Rubicon JT about a week ago and noticed the wondering right away maybe 2nd day tire pressures were at 41 from dealer dropped down to 37 as door panel listing suggests, did help a bit but not much, dropped down as low as 30psi to experiment and to no avail. If you not paying 100% attention you can get into serious trouble real quick, as if you've had a few drinks
Im hoping they have a recall...
If your interested in this vehicle make sure you get on the highway as part of your test ride!
Hi Rich,
We're sorry that you are experiencing a steering concern with your new Gladiator. If you decide to have your dealer address this, please feel free to private message us. We would be happy to connect you with a Case Specialist to assist.

I no longer believe its a steering box issues. Wifes JL had major wandering with her sahara on 18" wheels. We switched out her wheels to the 17" rubicons with the 33" KO2, Air them down to 31psi and also torqued all suspension components which some were disgustingly loose. After all this, her steering is dramatically improved. She has the original Steering box to I beleive it ends in AA or AB. Our JT has the latest one which is AE and still wanders and drives like crap on the HWY. I will be checking the torque specs on all the suspension components this afternoon and airing the tires to 31 as well to see if she drives better. Fingers crossed.

Shit, I was even considering buying the Yet Adjustable Track bar and some adjustable Control arms to give her additional caster in hopes to fix this crap :/

Oof. I don't like hearing that the torque specs are out.

Please follow up with your findings on the JT.

I just checked and the Lower ball joints, drag links at the knuckles, Track bar at the axle and the Tie rods were all loose and not in spec. I tightened them all to spec and will drive later to see if I see a difference. The worse of them all were the drag link and the tie rod. They were pretty much finger tight

it was insane as I was tightening Down the tie rod and drag link at the knuckles it literally took a bunch of pulls on the torque wrench before finally hitting the 47 ft lb torque spec from the service manual

WTF indeed! Seems like they should come from factory set to torque specs...
a bunch of members on the JL forums had the same findings on their JL. I’m not sure what’s going on. During the manufacturing process they use those torque limiting impact guns that are programmed to a certain torque setting but it seems they may not be working correctly lol

Unacceptable!

BUT, very informative post, so I’m quoting it for all to see again. We need to get info like this compiled into a sticky thread.
