For those who didn't get a steel bumper from the factory with their JT, how much front end or fender clearance did you lose adding a steel bumper and winch? I lost no height in distance from the ground to the front pumpkin, but have read one or two folks saying they lost 2" of front fender clearance. I am wondering if I should add a spacer to the front to offset this potential loss, but I don't want to lose the rake. How much, if any, did you dip down in the front from adding bumper+winch?

I didn’t do a before and after measurement, but I may have lost about 1/2” in sag from the added weight of the winch (steel cable) and steel Fab Fours Stubby bumper. Not much, if any.

I have a Mopar winch bumper, winch plate, and warn 10 going on shortly. Waiting on rivnuts to arrive. I could take measurements.

I have a JTR that had a plastic bumper. Replaced with Smittybilt XRC and a 12k pound winch with which I swapped with synthetic line to save some weight. I did not do a before measurement but I did not notice any sag which was surprising because the bumper alone was heavy as hell.

RR Arcus and SmittyBuilt 12k synthetic on My JTR that had a plastic. I did a pre measurement that wasn't the most planned out and another one after. I would say it is identical or at most 1/4 of an inch lower. I also did seek out one of the lightest bumpers I could find. It is pretty much just a winch plate, two hooks and a super thin peice of metal over top.

I have a new video on just that topic.
Stock bumper was 35 lbs
Rugged ridge stubby was 37 lbs.
Winch 10s with synthetic line 60lbs.
Lost height 1/8 of an inch.

Rugged Ridge spartan full width and Badlands Apex 12000lb winch with Synthetic line all together it weighs around 180 lbs and I may have loss 1/4" if any at all. Still looks pretty level to me and as it did before I installed the bumper and winch. If I did I'm ok with it because I want a slight rake anyway for hauling but if I lost 2" of height I would not be pleased. I also got 2.5" Ready lift spacer lift installed .
