As long as oil consumption is not high, I prefer a bit of oil on the back of the valves under hard driving conditions and it makes a good detonation detergent when it is not burning.

Thats GM quality control for you!

I used to race shifter karts a 100 years ago and we picked up sponsorship from TM, an engine manufacturer in Italy.

We got a motor sent over to us and when we first took it apart, there was a rusty nail in the water jacket under the cylinder

Nice job guys!

I would guess 2500+ if I manage to get the limited slip I want.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but you would likely need to get creative with hose routing. I've been considering adding one to my JT if anyone wants to send me one to "try" it out
I'm advocating for someone to send you one to "try" as well! :CWL:

Btw what gears are you running on your JT? I have 5.13 in my JL and my uncle's JT as well, and wondering if that would be a good pair with the supercharger.

If you have a fairly heavy vehicle, small engine, and big tires, more gear can't do anything but help. Except for fuel eco.....but, that doesn't matter, right?

Cool! Mine is definitely heavy...LOD sliding rack, roof top tent, roam box on top, 37in tires, tire carrier in back. Thanks!

@LeftCoast32 and @TTEChris Not sure if you guys know the answer to this, but do you think UPR's (or Mishimoto's) catch can still be compatible with the magnuson supercharger?
I have the Edelbrock on my 2014JKURX (MT) with 5.13s and 37's - also have the Mishimoto oil catch can - as long as you have room for the can, the hose lines should be easy enough on a JT.

Do you have to use premium gas?
Recommended, yes.
Mandatory, no.
You can add octane boost if needed.

The key is to understand your tune and how octane works for you.

I am still going to try a couple things with the throttle body. Mine is real close. I think I have cruise figured out. Im also on the fence about a regear I think keeping the RPM over 1900 would help things quite a bit. At this point though another 1k I am still about 18k cheaper than a hemi swap. The refinement I am getting to is pretty surprising.
