The signal correlation, yep!

The latest Beta release has the cam/crank resync "tool" under the Special Features tab.
I am getting an error P0017 and I believe this is the issue. Can you tell me where this is located. I found an area I thought it might be in but the relearn looked to be related to transmission only.

I would pull your position sensor out and make sure it is not covered in metal. That is what happens when. The cam goes flat.

Thanks. It just started when I put in the new HP Tuners ECM.

Well that is good then actually. You need to go into the HP scanner tool and hit the ribbon icon that looks like a power button. The option should be there under engine. Need the latest Beta version. If it is not there you need to put in a help ticket for your OS and VIN

The only option I see that it could be is reset all adaptives. Is that it or should I contact support

So this group and others do an insane amount of work trying to better an after-market product, that it appears the manufacturer is not interested in addressing.
That is a sad thing to say since I highly desired the add-on power for myself.
I will be giving this the hard pass, and to all, sorry for your troubles.

Sad thing is it makes a noticeable improvement, and it’s high quality - pretty much everything fits as expected, and the couple things requiring some finagling are actually called out in the documentation.

Unfortunately the engine isn’t on the same page. You’re making the right choice, imo.

So I do have a 2 part legit question though, does anyone have an engine that they used forged internals during upgrade?
If so, how is it doing?

The rotating assembly is not usually what is going to let you down. The valvetrain and throttle control model are where mist of the problems lie, and then that is compounded by sloppy assembly practices

Mine did…. Wiped rod bearings. All 4 cams, all lash adjuster, all cam followers, all phasers, all VVL solenoids replaced. My issue is a combination of a ridiculous amount of blowby (thanks CAFE for the low tension rings) and shitty assembly in Mexico (Saltillo Plant). My engine has been full of Three Bond from the upper and lower oil pan since Day 1. The Magnuson DID NOT cause my engine to knock….horrible QC did. No warranty of course. “Heavily Modified” is what the flag on my VIN says.

If I am.picking up what you are laying down, I don't think forged internals would of saved this failure.

I am just hypothesizing, but my guess, is you had adhesive in a couple places, it could of even been what prompted the cam failures by clogging the VVL solenoids. When the cams started to go, they launched a bunch of metal through the engine. At that point if you had adhesive and cam filings, it would not be a far stretch to imagine rod bearing oil feed getting clogged. I have been concerned mine will end up like this. I have been changing the oil every 2k.

Hey guys here is the rework. All of the weird stuff should be fixed. I even took it to the dealership and let them take a rip. They said it rips.

Oh an I am back to my transmission tune as this early low RPM lower power does better with my shift schedule.
Hi Dave, am I to assume this is a file for tuning TCM? I have problems where my Magnuson Glady gets into too higher gear at low speeds around town and thus causes missing. Just about to assemble new engine with forged internals, 80mm throttle body and Interchiller but not sure if I should unlock TCM.

I would email Dave and get a tune direct from him, he is charging for them now.
