I have often said that at times IF can be a big word. Well then please if what you have been told is true then I believe that you may be the first buyer to get a manual transmission and that works be big news. Please keep us all posted. Crossing fingers for ya pal. And post pictures of the stick.

So I just walked over to my MA'S rep to ask if my JS status was legit, he wasn't even tracking a build date. I just got this email from him

"Great news man, it is indeed built and completed production yesterday. I’ve requested it to be moving straight away. Don’t see any issue with having this there for you in August at all."

Looks like manuals are going to start flowing!

I'm not home from deployment till mid August, so if this status is correct It may have to sit at the dealership for a while. Unless my wife insists on driving it around for a little while.

First post after months of reading. I feel the enjoyment, pain and frustration as we all wait. I am hopeful the log jam will clear and M/T's will start rolling in!

To make me feel better, I had the dealership order Mopar Off-Road wheels and the 2" lift kit. I was able to have Cooper STT Pros (LT315/70R17) mounted to them yesterday (I have these on my 2015 JKUR and love them), so the new parts pile is growing!

I will have a new set of Granite Crystal aluminum wheels and mud-terrains (285/70R17) for sale, if/when I take delivery.

100% perfect combination... So jelly right now. Can't wait to see pics when they're on.

Just joining this discussion but all of the late availability colors have now been released according to the guy who does the customer orders at my local dealership. I went in Sunday wondering about Punk'n Orange or Gator but the sales guy said talk to me in September. Then the ordering guy called me and said they'd been released already. So I ordered up a manual Sport S in Gator on Monday. Should be getting my order confirmation from the sales guy tomorrow. Reading this thread has me worried I won't see the truck until after summer has come and gone though. But if you wanted one of the late availability colors they hopefully should be out.

I’m curious on how many people will order the manual gladiator. I feel like we’re going to be sitting on something special here. With MT’s becoming are rare option nowadays. Do you think we could be sitting on one of the last cool jeeps to be made that offer manual?

I think it will be fairly rare especially with all the drawbacks but I cant pass up the ability to actually drive the truck. The way driving should be. I never understand people who complain about a manual in traffic or other situations. It becomes second nature to me. Also if you get stuck and need to rock foward and back thats just killer in an auto.

"Looks like the Jeep Gladiator is completely built. It did get shipped to a storage lot for final inspections."

Today Jeep chat said mine was moved to D1 several days ago. They gave me the "escalate this up the chain" convo. We'll see where it goes - order placed 4/28 and VIN assigned a couple days later. MT Rubicon with most options.

Rubicon bumpers again. Are they only ordering 3 at a tme. Just steal some from the Jl line.
