I'm pretty sure ours were both built by 2/1/20. You can double check with a recall/ VIN lookup.My truck was built after the feb 13th window for the recall. Here's to hoping they actually knew what the problem was and fixed it before mine was built.

I haven't heard anything regarding Gladiators, but a couple people on the Wrangler forum have posted that they can order manuals again:Can anyone confirm that manuals are ready for order again. My dealer found the entry in the Vehicle ordering and Inventory management home page today. Looks like the issue may be resolved.

Although I have not driven as many manuals that you have (My total is 10, either owned or at work), I have driven quite a variety in the earlier part of my life. Including a WWII surplus Dodge WC63 6x6 weapons carrier, a 1956 Chevy 210, a 1965 Chevy flatbed truck, a 1971 Mercedes 280SL, a 1985 Ford escort. Most recently a Chevy Spark rental car in Greece. None of these had a lot of horsepower, even the Mercedes had slightly lower power to weight ratio than the Gladiator. If you like to drive a manual, you drive the one you are sitting in the way it works the best, given the power and gearing it has. "The MT enhances the driving experience for me..." That hits the nail on the head. Looking forward to getting my manual Gladiator.I’ll admit that the AT is technically superior to the MT. But I just like shifting my own gears. Period. ... I didn’t like the boredom of driving the AT. I’ve owned over 20 manuals and only 2 automatics. I just like them. That’s all there is to it. The MT enhances the driving experience for me and the AT takes away from it. And, with a LOT of manual experience under my belt I think I’m qualified to say that the JT manual is geared very appropriately for the intended use.
Yeah, they'll take care of it.I bought my JT private party and this will be my first experience with a recall (i have mostly owned older cars where the recall periods expire).
So if i didn't buy my car from the dealer, am i still able to get the work done/serviced at the dealership close to me?
