Could you be more specific? Where did you read this? Please define "wonky".
I'll have to go find it again. I may have read it on my work computer because I didn't see the article in my history. Anyway, the article said that with larger trailers (I think the test was with an airstream) - still within stating towing capacity - the trailer swayed dangerously on their test track. I've read lots of Gladiator articles lately but I think they also said they didn't have a weight distribution hitch.

We pulled the trigger and placed our order as we don't intend to pull anything that big for several years at least but was curious if anyone had experienced situations in the real world or not.

I‘ve towed a trailer that’s about 3000 lbs dry and probably 3800 lbs fully loaded without any issues. I have around 8000 miles on this setup. I do have a WDH with anti sway, so I’m sure that helps.

Anyone towing a travel trailer without WDH is making a poor choice. I towed an Airstream with a RAM 2500 and wouldn’t have done it without WDH in place.

I currently tow a 21’ E-Pro (empty 3400#, loaded 4500#) with my Mojave and have been quite comfortable up to 80 mph with no sway concern. Just don’t look at your fuel economy at that speed.

Does anyone know if the stock reservoir mounts will work with aftermarket reservoir? I have the Bilstein B8 8100 shocks on my Mojave, they are mounted behind the bumper (where every seems to mount them), but they rub on my 40's. I wanted to try and mount them where the factory reservoir was for clearance.

They probably didn't have the correct amount (10-12%) of tongue weight on the hitch ball. Other explanations are : it could have been very windy or it was possibly a single axle trailer which is more prone to sway . Dual axles track like a dog to a visitors crotch.

What's up everyone. Just picked up my Sarge Green Mojave from Bill Volz Jeep in Westchester County NY. Great guys if you're ever in the neighborhood.

Less than one week and I've already ordered a bunch of stuff for her.. (ie step bars, roll bar, cover, lights, etc)

Also patiently waiting for Magnuson to come out with a super charger for the 22 model. I'm told they don't currently have one for that year. They're still waiting for someone to unlock the ECM.

till then..

Congrats! I feel like red Mojaves are pretty rare.
Interestingly enough, you're right. Whereas over 6% of all 2021 Gladiators are Firecracker Red, barely 4% of '21 Mojaves are.

To put this in perspective, there are just a few hundred Firecracker Red Mojaves.

That lines up with my expectations. My first two JKs were both Firecracker Red. Rarely came across anyone else that had one that color.
