I managed to get 20.2 mpg in my Mojave on a tank once, but I was intentionally trying to get as good of gas mileage as possible. I didn't like driving like an old lady, so that was a short lived experiment.

I usually average about 18 around town now...not too bad.

Nice! I have a sport max tow (4.10 gears) with 33's and I am getting about 17 around town/day to day and up to 22mpg on long highway drives if I keep the cruise control below 70. Honestly I can't complain. It was below this until around 3,000 miles or so when it suddenly seemed to improve. Not sure if it was related to break-in, some ecu programming, or just the coincidental switch from winter to summer gas in my area.

Ill compare the screen to a real world calculation and get back, now I'm really curious.

I was excited because it looked like it was starting to improve. Most of my recent driving was highway so I figured that was it. At the same time, I wasn't close to 300 miles since my last fill up, so something was off.

With the 6-speed manual and the aftermarket 33 x 12.5s a-rumblin' (I love that sound), I generally get about 16.3-16.6 around town.

On the highway, I was getting close to 19. Coming down the mountain off the Blue Ridge Parkway a week ago, when my dumb ass forgot to gas up before going up the mountain, I was getting a much more absurd MPG rate as I didn't even dare breathe on the gas pedal...

Me too on real world calculation, have to look, but really perhaps just want to be ignorant and happy! Stock Mojave with Mopar CAI getting in hilly area of Pa short trips 18.4-19 MPG get like four to six going up hills and 70-99 mpg going downhill. Have not had long road trip, but Best avg. highway mpg was 23 , but usual is 21 -22, but that is off the dash!

Mine is right at 19 give or take at 8k miles. I tow a 12’ tandem axle enclosed trailer trailer about 4 times a month as well. It weighs about 3800-4000lbs

Is there a break in period? I have 1200 miles and am getting awful milage. I am getting around 16mpg. Sorry trying to convert from metric.
Mine (manual Rubicon, stock) climbed little by little for about 10k miles. Started around 16, now usually around 19. A lot of people have a similar experience.

I usually average around 17 because I have a bit of a lead foot. I’ve had a few tanks hand calculated at around 20 when I’m being less aggressive with it, And driving long distances on back roads (including dirt) where the speeds stay down around 55-60 I’ve managed a couple tanks at over 22mpg.
