Thanks for you opinion. I'm curious does the 2 inch lift look goofy with 35s? I just bought the 35s so Ill be running them for a while. they are 35x12.5. I think it will be fine and I agree with you Im definitely leaning towards the AEV kit. What 3.5in front spring and extensions did you use?I started with the 2" AEV and it rode identical to stock. It comes with shock extenders so you don't have replace the already upgraded shocks. The only thing I did not like was that it maintained the rake that is pretty standard, and in my opinion accentuated it. I was also running 37" tires, so the 35" will be great.
Because the rake bothered me, I ended up replacing the front with 3.5" front springs, and purchased a 3" shock extender. Now the gladiator sits perfectly level and it fits my preference. I'm still running the rear 2" AEV spacers with zero issues thus far.
Personally, if your only going 2" for a little extra space, then the AEV is the right choice (Rake preference considered). When I tore out the front, I was pleased that the spacer and rubber shock mount (not sure of name) were 1 piece, rather than just adding the spacer.
Don't know if this helps, but it was my experience, so take from it what you will. Good Luck
