I started with the 2" AEV and it rode identical to stock. It comes with shock extenders so you don't have replace the already upgraded shocks. The only thing I did not like was that it maintained the rake that is pretty standard, and in my opinion accentuated it. I was also running 37" tires, so the 35" will be great.
Because the rake bothered me, I ended up replacing the front with 3.5" front springs, and purchased a 3" shock extender. Now the gladiator sits perfectly level and it fits my preference. I'm still running the rear 2" AEV spacers with zero issues thus far.
Personally, if your only going 2" for a little extra space, then the AEV is the right choice (Rake preference considered). When I tore out the front, I was pleased that the spacer and rubber shock mount (not sure of name) were 1 piece, rather than just adding the spacer.
Don't know if this helps, but it was my experience, so take from it what you will. Good Luck
Thanks for you opinion. I'm curious does the 2 inch lift look goofy with 35s? I just bought the 35s so Ill be running them for a while. they are 35x12.5. I think it will be fine and I agree with you Im definitely leaning towards the AEV kit. What 3.5in front spring and extensions did you use?

I have towed on many occasions a 20 foot flatbed trailer. I use the trailer for dump/trash runs. I would say that the most weight I have towed was about 4500 pounds. The truck pulled the trailer effortlessly. It felt like there was nothing behind it.
Nice

The 2" AEV lift with 35s looks great, not goofy at all. I ran 35s for a year with it before going to 37s.

I love the stance and no wheel poke (my preference). I am using the shock extenders but will be doing Bilsteins all-around this summer.

I would not buy a nice Mojave and use a spacer lift
When for a few dollars more you can use springs for the same height and not compromise. Thats like buying a big block Corvette and run regular gas in it to me

Glad to hear that. My AEV goes on in a week-isn and also already have pretty new 35s and my Salta wheel going. I am planning g 37s next but saving for a regear first

Thanks for all the reply’s this helps a bunch. I like that rockjock kit. The guys at teraflex put together a similar kit for me that landed about the same cost. I put 35s on yesterday and it looks great. I don’t plan on 37s but a little more lift would be ideal as long as it doesn’t look goofy. Went with Baja Boss AT tires. Planning to add a bumper and winch next and we’ll see it that makes the rake worse

If one does the AEV 2" Mojave kit, are the GEO Relocation brackets critical to making it all work correctly? I am going to be taking my shocks off for the rebuild someday soon and am debating what all else to do while I have it apart.... Any suggestions on stiffer rear coil springs? I run a topper so figure that is worth exploring...

I did not use any correction brackets. But I did install the longer Mopar lcas. It is very difficult to measure any difference from my stock lcas, but I installed them anyway. Keep rides and drives same as it did before the lift and lcas. Don't know anything about the springs.

Caster correction is important when you lift. Geometry brackets are one way of doing that. But for a 2" spacer lift I think most people would not use geometry brackets. Longer lower front control arms are more common for that small a lift. The Mopar LCAs are cheap and easy, better options are LCAs from vendors like MetalCloak, TeraFlex, Core4x4, etc.
Clayton offer good options for the springs.
For an application where you are trying to add spring rate without adding height I would contact the vendor, Vendors like Clayton and MetalCloak seem willing to talk and share their knowledge for your specific needs.

I put together this package. Is this a hot mess? If I go with the upgraded springs do I still need the AEV Spacer? If I go with the extended lower control arms, do I need the Geometry Correction brackets?

If you go with the MetalCloak springs you do not need the AEV Spacer lift, and probably don't want it. However, there are other parts you would want, like a rear track bar bracket, maybe a rear track bar, front track bar, longer swaybar end links, and the lower front control arms you have in your cart.
Then there is the question of shocks and bumpstop extensions. You can just run shock spacers and matching bumpstop extensions. Or you can upgrade to longer shocks and matching bumpstop extensions. Your shocks / shock extensions and bumpstop extensions need to match up.
I would call the guy at MetalCloak and have him piece together a kit for you. It would probably be around what you have in your cart, but add in the parts you don't have.

Thank you @Guzzi Moto . I sent them a message. I want to maintain the stock shocks for now so that complicates things. Appreciate the info

Might be some don't wheel that way? Might be a bit of the devil/angel you know, vs the one you don't?

Spacers keep what you have. If you like it, you may want to keep it.

Mojave spring lifts seem to be a mixed bag around here. "Bought 2" springs, ended up with a 3" lift." "Bought ABC springs, but didn't like them, too stiff. Ended up with XYZ instead. Might consider adding PQRS later." "Bought these, look how crappy they are."

And sometimes if you go look at their other posts, you'll find the springs were just one of the fifteen other undercarriage items they upgraded at the same time. Some are lift complementary items (extensions, longer lca, etc), but others go way beyond what was needed for just the lift. All lift reviews are subjective, but finding a happy camper and then seeing they had another $3k in upgrades really ups the ambiguity when trying to weigh reviews.

I'm not knocking it. If you've got all the tools and like wrenching and experimenting, go for it. And sharing that info after is valuable to the forum, I appreciate it.

It's just not something I can settle on finding a good answer for. Every custom or frankenlift is different, and many had repeated experiments. If I could find a "5 out of 5 tried this and liked it, here's the simple, affordable parts list..." I might be game to try it. But I haven't really seen that, except with the spacer lifts. Though, it's a gamble either way.

And according to Cunningham's Law, I shall hear of one soon. 😀
