Just a couple WTF's here I need to mention and vent about:

1. The auto-dimming mirror, I need that in my 2020 Rubicon's life. Miss it from my GX460...

2. Cloth seats seem to actually hold me a little more snug, one drive in, not sure if it's more comfortable or not though...

3. And last but definitely not least, for the love of god, how the $@#% is it quieter than my hardtop, absolutely mindblown. I'm running 315/70/17 Toyo Open Country ATs and they're not loud by any means, but on phone calls it's a constant battle of volume chasing and fighting road noise externally. I'm not sure what the secret sauce is here, but I'm a little baffled and a tad salty after driving the Mojave lol.

1. It comes with the 8.4" Radio / Premium Audio. They keep changing up the packages and it was optional, but later became standard. My 2021 JTM it was optional when I ordered, now standard.

2. The seats are different in the Mojave. They have larger bolstering, which helps when pounding the desert. First time I sat in one, I noticed it immediately. The steering wheel is also thicker than all other models.

3. Yeah that is baffling. Soft top isn't too loud, but I wouldn't think it would be quieter.

Yup, to #2. I thought it felt different too but was like no... can't be :/

Definitely not trading anything lol, too far into my Rubicon and heading down my build path, but it's a little frustrating for sure, especially the noise angle.

I'm a cloth seat lifer. I'm not a fan of leather

This is very interesting about the soft top, i've been really liking the looks of soft tops on Wranglers. I just wonder how they are in teh AZ heat

I had leather in my first Gladiator and wasn’t a fan. They were stiff and I had swamp ass after 5 minutes on any day over 50*.

My soft top is not quieter than my hard top but it’s a Jeep. The soft top is much more convenient and I don’t have to store anything when going topless.

What soft top did the Mojave have, the regular or premium?
I have a regular and it is very quiet.
Not apples to apples, but it is quieter than my Wrangler hard top in many conditions.

No it’s the loaner for my Rubicon in for warranty work; fixing rust bubbles on the tailgate and all the hinges etc. I didn’t even know there was a normal and a premium soft top. How can you tell?

My wife has a hard top wrangler, and I bought the Willys with a softtop. It wasn't as loud as I thought it would be but the Firestone MTs are so loud. Talking on the phone is pretty much a no-go. The one thing and only thing I dislike about the softtop is the baffling of the top portion that happens when I'm behind a semi. If I had more street worthy tires, I think it would be pretty good.

I'm not far from you and have a 2006 Nissan 350Z convertible. The soft top on that car has a much smaller surface area to absorb heat and the A/C has a much smaller compartment to cool down. I can't imagine that the soft top on the JT/Wrangler would be better than the hard top. Not to mention, you can't add the hot head liners (or similar) to the soft top.

Another thought to consider: the AZ sun kills soft tops. I've replaced the soft top on my Z twice because of the UV/heat damage. Maybe Jeep uses better material but maybe not.

That's enough to get me off my soft top thought for the next one right there ?
