If you are planning to upgrade to 35"s later on would it be wise to go with XL/Long?

Those fender extenders look great, but holy moly they’re expensive! When I saw your pics, I looked them up online. Their website has $775 Australian dollars which is still $557 US dollars. Why so pricey?

XL Originals Mojave is stock. They do fine, although I think Longs would give a bit better splash up coverage, I still get some dirt on the steps body even with them on. And for trails/wheeling easy to take off.

Good question … first to market with high quality OEM-fit extender? Low volume production? Because guys like me buy them? 😏 Not sure to be honest. I know it would have been more expensive for me to buy another set of wheels and tires (over here) to run during this tour. Price will absolutely scare some off of the product … all I can say is there should be no doubt regarding fit, finish, and function. - CHEERS -

I removed the rock rails and put nFab steps on. Would i still get the Rokblokz with the cutouts?

I also did RokBlokz XL original. I installed all 4 in my garage in about an hour. I have very minor mechanic skills and crappy tools. It was very easy.

What size tires are those and do you have a lift? I have a 3” lift on my Mojave and am getting new tires next week, still deciding on 35s or 37s.

Another vote for XL original. I don’t want them any longer so maybe I won’t have to take them off.

Stock tires? I just ordered the XL/Original for the front only. Hoping that minimizes the rock chips on the rear fenders and door hinges. Good thing I don't have painted fenders lol.

I didn't mount the metal tabs to the guards. I instead mounted them to the thick plastic tabs. I think it's a stronger mount this way.

If you follow the directions the guards are mounted to the fender liner which I think is dumb.

This guy details it:

Around 7 minutes in.

I still need to put the passenger side on so I might try that method and compare the difference (I installed the driver side according to the instructions).

Pretty happy with the XL/Original. Definitely glad I didn't go with the longer ones, I think they would have been way too long. With some bigger tires down the road these should be just about right.
