Would my Mojave look silly with a 2 inch AEV lift while keeping my stock 33 inch tires? Does anyone have a pictures of this setup?

The plan is to get 35's once my 33's wear down but thats going to be another year. I was hoping to see some photos with a 2 inch lift on stock 33's for my own perspective.

I run 37's without a lift on my Mojave. A lift is going to raise your center of gravity and for me, not allow me to get into my garage. My Suburban I keep outside so I have a performance 65" lift on it.

I plan on doing the same thing. I don't have the cash for the tires yet but want to get the same 2" AEV lift ASAP to add some clearance. Some pics would be good for reference.
@arskemp posted while I was writing. That doesn't look bad.

Been in the same debate. Unfortunately, I can’t find anyone who carries AEV in my area and I’m not savvy enough to do it myself. :-(

I'm thinking this might not be safe to drive on the interstsate. LOL

As you step further back the 33s + lift start to become less and less appealing, especially if you start to look at the vehicle from an angle (wheel offset plays a huge visual roll in how large the tires look).

That being said, I got compliments on it in person even with the stock 33s + AEV lift, and even a few "why"s when I said I wanted to move to larger tires.

...is that for rock crawling? Just my personal opinion, but I think you should have stopped at 63" of lift!

Tires before lift. Lift should (IN MY OPINION) be utilized only to accommodate the tire.

Also remember that the AEV lift, as well as others, are meant to raise a sport suspension 2"-- unless its the spacers which will lift them all equally. And then, if you increase the lift by that much, you will be affecting the castor.

After running a 3.5" lift on my jeep for years, I recently went down to a 3" spring in the front. Even though I thought I dialed in the castor correctly, it drives even better now, and I have a slight rake. Even though I'm regeared at 4.88s, I think I may go down in tire size to a 35 when these wear out.

I did the AEV lift first. Much like you I was planning to ride out the 33s. I ended up getting a used set of 35s (metric) shortly afterwards from another member.

The AEV kit allows for caster adjustment so you can easily adjust that during installation. I would suggest getting geometry correction brackets while you’re at it

I’ll see if I can dig up a picture of before and after. Personally I didn’t have a problem with the appearance with the OEM 33s.
