If you buy it through Amazon, you could try it out, and if you don't like it, you have 2 months to return it.

Its quite simple
Download the app
Plug it into your 7 Pn Harness.
Strap it into place
Lift up the cover
Open the App
Pair the Echo
Enter the code that is on the plug cover [Trailer side]
Once paired plug in the trailer brake cable
It will have created a profile for you and show the brake bias at the bottom which should be 5 and a large circle which is where you would push to manually activate the brakes
Drive around with the trailer and see how the brake bias feels, and do some slow speed stops with the manual button
At this point, adjust the brake bias as you would with any brake controller.

When done, unplug Trailer, Unplug Curt Echo, put in vehicle or other safe location

No need to take apart your dash
No need to drill a hole
No need to play with wire harnesses

If you don't like
Box up, send back to Amazon

What's funny is that they still do not list that as compatible with a 2022.

That's what caused me to start researching brake controllers for the JT.

I just installed on my 2022 rubicon Diesel, and when I hit the brake you hear a loud click sound coming from knob/dial, were you adjust the brake trailer.
is this normal?

As stated above, I do not have the Mopar Brake controller. I have the Curt Echo.
So I can't say for certain, but I have never had what you are experiencing with other brake controllers so my initial thought is no, that is not normal.

Sorry if I missed it, Where are you relocating the 12V plug to? or do you totally lose it?

Awesome thanks! I have an idea for mounting it. I just wasnt sure if it needed to be connected to a mopar vehicle computer to function.
It comes with a harness to connect it to the truck, but the unit is made by Tekonsha and uses their standard connector at the controller. You could pick up a Tekonsha controller to GMC truck harness and it should work just fine.

Anyone install this on a manual transmission yet? From my understanding, it won't mount where they intend for it to mount because the clutch hardware is in the way. No biggie; I figured I'd just rig up a mount somewhere else under the dash (if possible). Problem is, I ordered one a few weeks ago with this intent, but the Mopar parts supplier kept pestering me for my VIN. I finally told them that I didn't have it handy (I didn't), but that it was a manual transmission so it would show as not being compatible and to ship it anyway. Well, of course they now say they can't sell it to me because of "liability reasons" and cancelled my order.

So, back to the drawing board.

@AllMoparParts.com is a forum sponsor. Contact them about ordering one. Provide the VIN, let them know you want to purchase it, and that you understand it may not be listed as compatible with your VIN. It is an add-on accessory, there should be no liability concerns with selling it to anyone.

That's a crock! So you mount it elsewhere where it can't interfere with the clutch - big deal. I wish I had mounted mine elsewhere as well and I have an automatic. Check with Benny, allmoparparts here he's a forum sponsor - see what he says.

Problem: want the factory look.
Curt Echo.
It plugs into the 7 pin connector, and then the trailer plugs into it.
No changes made to the interior at all.
That means you 100% retain the Factory Look.

What button does One push if they start to get some trailer sway?
