I purchased a wheel bag from Amazon that can hold two wheels. I keep the wheels in the bag in the bed with the bikes while traveling and throw it in the back of the cab when we stop for food or drinks after a ride.
That's probably not a bad idea... contaminated brake rotors make me wanna bash my face against a brick wall repeatedly... :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

I just finished getting this setup. Billiebars with Rockymounts fork mounts and Billiebars rear wheel trays. The wheel trays were sitting about 1.5" too low to flip open the tonneau so I had some UHMW blocks made to space them up.

Pretty happy with how this turned out. Have to mount one more wheel tray and 3 bikes should sit up there just fine

I had my hybrid bike on my older Thule bike rack (It's about 13-14 years old now) attached to trailer hitch. It survived the 30mph straight line/60mph+ gusts this past weekend while driving I-80 from MO to OR.

Some daylight pictures of my new setup using the KB Voodoo bars and Yakima highroad bike racks. So far my only complaint is the whistling noise at 65mph... but might be able to figure that out this weekend...

I never noticed any whistling with my setup. Then again I always have the radio turned up or my gf is talking.

It definitely whistles/hums and it’s pretty loud at 65mph but it could be something on the bike handlebars or something. I’ll figure it out...

No noise at all under 60mph.

I use a Hollywood hitch rack and this hitch "adapter" if I need to tow also. This setup keeps the bed free for other gear.

Trying out the RockyMounts HM thru axle mount. Need to play around with mounting areas so I can mount it with the RTT.

Hey everyone- New member here and I just picked up my Gladiator on Friday. It looks like there are several of you that have the Diamondback cover with the bike rack mounted on top. Are there any other hard covers that can be used like this?

For those that have it mounted under the soft cover, any leaks and is there a soft cover that restricts access to the bed?

Ideally I want a hard cover to secure everything in the bed but I also don't want the bike rack to sit any higher than needed.

Thanks!
