There are...but when you roll out your "hey, we can tow over 7,000 pounds truck" - you make that an option :) - For safety on both sides.
oh I agree.
Does the Colorodo or Tacoma come with one?

True, though keep in mind it also appears to reduce your payload capacity about 400 pounds for the Sport and Sport S (no similar effect on the Overland and Rubicon).
weird. I want a rubicon anyhow. I dont forsee a bunch of towing, maybe a lawn mower here and there. Maybe a SMALL camper down the road.

Good question. Maybe non of them want the liability. Certainly not a cost issue.
I know the current Colorado has a factory brake controller available. Unfortunately my 2015 doesn't have one (option must have been added later). The Gladiator factory brake controller is coming - they've just been late with it. It sounds like it will be here any day now (crossing fingers ...).

It’s in the brochure, right?

I wonder how much they are going to charge us to get one installed at a dealer. It should be free considering what the Max Tow package is advertised as but I know that’s not how the world works

Forward facing camera- Negative on mine. Cool feature but not a requirement.
Cargo management group- Useful add on for the price if you constantly have things to haul around
Spray in Bedliner - The dealership did mine for about $75 cheaper.
Roll up tonneau cover - I'm going with the after market on this one.
Premium sound- The premium sound system cranks. Love it.
Adaptive Cruise - Not a requirement for me.
Premium LED - Halogens work just fine.
Aux Switch group - Yes and they can be programmed to operate without the ignition in the on position

I just picked up my Glad a couple of days ago then had to go out of town for a few days but the single most important option I got was the LED lights.
They are without a doubt the best lighting system of any car that i’ve ever driven and that includes 2 Porsche’s, 2 MB’s, a BMW and several domestic vehicles.

Spend the money because they are worth it!

Just wondering if there were any options you got or didn't get on your gladiator that you love, wish you had gotten or that turned out to be a flop? Obviously I don't want to list every option but here are some I am looking at.

Forward facing camera- I love this idea but I dont think I would use it much. Worth?
Cargo management group- I like this but I only really want the inverter, outlet. I figure the lockable storage will have a better aftermarket solution same as the actual rail system. Worth it for the outlet and inverter?
Spray in Bedliner - $495 seems like a decent deal, and it would be done from the start. But can the aftermarket do it better, especially concerning warranty?
Roll up tonneau cover - Way to go or can the aftermarket do it better.
Premium sound- Im a huge music guy but ive not even considered this. Anyone get it? love it hate it?
Adaptive Cruise - on paper it seems like something I could def live without, plus it makes you take active safety. These seem like a big no to me, am I wrong?
Premium LED - yes they look great! buuuut, is it something I can just do via the aftermarket later?
Aux Switch group - This is one I feel Is a must have. Change my mind. :D
We got the cargo group only because we wanted the inverter and lockable storage. Don't like that you can't get some things with some models. Like we would have liked leather in the Sport S, why can't you get it? What is the deal with that? Also, wanted LED lights, but can't get in Sport S. There are some plug and play aftermarket LEDs that look nice. Had to get the garage door opener, even though we didn't want it. That is a dumb thing as well when you are supposedly ordering what you want. We have the roll up tonneau cover, it is very nice, though there is a new aftermarket hard 3 piece tonneau that looks like it would last longer. We got the bed liner because we didn't want to deal with it later, but it is very well done so worth it in our opinion. Didn't get adaptive cruise, don't like the big box in the way in the windshield, got the aux switch group in case we get led lights since we couldn't get them with the Sport S. The regular sound system is pretty nice, and when you plug your phone in for the Android play, the maps comes over only the drivers side, and it is pretty loud, so even if you had the tops off you'd still be able to hear. We thought that was a really nice feature we didn't know about. Didn't get forward facing camera. We got the auto start and the heated seats and wheel.

@Boris, the OEM LED headlights can be retrofitted to a Sport S. They're available as a kit from anybody that sells Mopar product. I do agree it's dumb that they won't let us spec them from the factory, though.

@Berserker556, you can indeed get heated seats with a manual transmission. The cold weather package is actually cheaper for manual trucks because the remote start feature is not included.

Another thing that doesn't make sense to me - why can't we order a base Sport with the premium soft top? If you get the roll up tonneau cover they won't match. Quite annoying.

I bought a LE and have not been disappointed with any of the add ones. Front camera is great, Alpine Premium sound is awesome. If you drive in any traffic or do road trips the ACC is so nice! It really reduces fatigue on long drives. Even the bluetooth speaker has already gotten a lot of use. I’ll probably lose the tonneau as I want to add canopy but I am really liking it until canopies are available.

Cold weather group is a must in Michigan.
I love my tonneau cover. The cargo group lockable container is awesome top and doors come off and Jeep storage is lockable. I use the power inverter all the time. For my refrigerator and a little half horse air compressor. The low-grade audio is the one that I ordered and I will be looking for aftermarket speakers at least. I like the interface for the low grade stereo because of the hard buttons. But the radio features are not as advanced as the middle grade Uconnect. For instance you cannot listen to the radio and play your Google navigation at the same time. The audio sound is buzzy at high volume. There are some pretty exciting aftermarket radios coming soon. I wish the sport s came with passive entry. I am already scratching up my box just through normal use and I will probably spring for the bed liner because the box is steel.
