They are straight bars, but there is no gap in the front and a very small gap in the rear. I was able to push it in pretty tight in the rear so you really don’t notice the slight gap. I’ll shoot a close up photo today and post it.
That sounds great, thank you!

Here's the photos. From the underside you can see there's an oblong notch where the rear bolt attaches to the frame. I was able to push the bar in about 1/4" and tighten the bolt to reduce the amount of gap. I think it looks fine.

I just ordered the Westin HDX rails in stainless, $408 with free shipping on Amazon. I thought about the $150 local used rails but figured it's a new truck, it should have new rails. Also ordered a receiver hitch.

New guy here... just took delivery of a new 2023 Sport. I got the most stripped down version I could find, even down to hand cranked windows, had to drive to a dealer in another state to get it.

Anyway, it didn't come with side steps or running boards or anything, just the pinch edge with holes where it attaches. One of the dealer guys said they weren't included with the basic Sport package and I dismissed it as lots of aftermarket stuff is available. Then forgot to ask again as it was a long day, and they're closed today.

I know there are other fancier ones available as options and I'll likely go that way, but surely there should be some basic version already there, no?
It was like a 600$ option

That's why I held on to them after I bought the fuel wheels. They may end up back on the jeep one day. I got to good a deal on the fuel wheels to pass them up though.

So, nothing in your photos shows an attachment to the frame of the truck. The bracket in the last photo (the one I left) shows the bracket is attached to the torque box of the body and to the pinch weld.

That's where they attach.

I’ve got Max Tow sport, I’ve got the Tyger rails and really happy with the look and fit. Also got the Tyger tonneau roll up. The cover is also great fit and finish. Hard to beat the price on these two

Any one have the Mopar HD sliders with step assist? If so, any pics and/or reviews on them?

Westin HDX stainless drop nerf bars:

Got home from the cabin this afternoon to find a long heavy box on my porch, so naturally I had to put them on. Took about 3 hours working solo, some of that was figuring out the installation instructions which had several glaring errors and omissions, so after installing the support brackets per the drawing, I had to remove them and install them correctly. They're somewhat lighter duty than I expected, but I understand that they're steps, not rock rails. They're not tubes as I expected but open on the back side; crud will accumulate but being stainless they shouldn't rust out. The carriage bolts holding the support brackets to the pinch rail could have been larger, and getting the wrench on the upper bolts holding the rails to the brackets is a bit tricky.

It was dark by the time I finished the first one; I debated leaving the second one for tomorrow, but once I had it figured out the second one only took about 45 minutes or so. But they're on, and my vertically challenged wife is happy. :)
