Went to the dealer to have my parking brake adjusted (6MT) and they had this Sport sitting out front. They are charging $10,000 for the upgrades, which include new Mopar lift, wheels/tires, bumper, fog lights, and winch.

That was my understanding also. Curious why in the second pic it’s mounted so close to the shock since this one was installed by a dealership and then not to mentioned marked up to a ridiculous amount. Shame on this dealer.
I was curious and it's lunch break so...

Mopar Lift ($2,000)
Toyo MT's ($450 ea)
KMC Wheels ($350 ea)
RC Winch ($400)
Bumper / Fogs ($550?)
Steps ($350?)

Considering at the prices any normal Joe would pay, that's around $7,200 in parts with tax (at my local rate) if buying yourself. Figure the install time / shop rate for the dealer to throw all that junk on - you aren't all that far away from $10K anymore. A little bit left over for a profit - and we know a dealer loves to make money. Not to mention a customer who doesn't want to fool with anything loves this. Finance all of it

I mean either way, that's a lot of cheese for sure.

Anyway, to the point of the thread. Curious to hear some reports on the new shocks. I was considering this (as well as AEV) if I decided to lift my truck at some point.

I didn’t think it was that outrageous to be honest.

I paid $5,000 for my lift, wheels and tires (including labor). The bumper and winch were another $1,000 with $0 in labor and all of lighting was probably close to another $1,000. I figure with inflation since it has been two years since I did all of it… $10,000 is just about right.

Does it solve the harsh hitting of bumps for the diesels? (completely?)
I did have the TSB done and it did help some but I am looking for a solution not a band-aid
I used the Alloy USA 61001 Suspension Leveling Kit, Front, 1.5 Inch Lift and SuperSprings SSF-401-54 to resolve this issue. The SumoSprings replace the factory bump stop and act as a progressive bump stop. Never went in for the TSB. Stock diesel sport S springs, rubicon fox takeoff shocks. Also added Air Lift 1000 Air Suspension Kit 60830 to the rear to dial in the rake I wanted (I constantly have a heavy payload). Handles like a totally different truck for a few hundred bucks all-in and you can do all of the work with basic hand tools in the driveway in about 3 hours. If you go over a speed hump at 40mph you're still going to bottom out the front suspension, but in normal driving it literally never bounces off of the bump stop with this setup. Very happy with it after ~40k miles.

Do we know yet if the only real difference between the old 2" Mopar Fox kit and the new Bilstein kit are the shocks? I have the Fox kit and curious what parts I would need to properly change to the Bilsteins. Thanks

When we compare the parts lists I can see the springs are the same

Appreciate the prompt response and information. I don't see those p/ns on my springs on a '21 JT Diesel. For example the front driver is 68421147AA and the rear driver is 68421150AA. Those don't even show on the Fox Mopar kit link. First Jeep owner here and just picked this rig up used so learning. Are these the wrong springs?
Specifically speaking of a Diesel JT we can see the same spring numbers are used across both kits as well, See below

Benny,

Appreciate the prompt response. I found the spring part numbers I have on my JTD are from an older kit even though the dealer I just purchased this rig from used installed it recently before I purchased. Bummer it wasn't the newer kit.

P/Ns:
LF 68421147AA
RF 68421148AA
LR 68421150AA
RR 68421149AA

Either way, looks like I should be able to put the new Bilsteins to be the same as this new kit on from your analysis. Just need the Bilstein part numbers and front remote reservoir mount p/n.

New first time Jeep owner here and enjoying the community this far!

Hi,
The mounts are included with the front shock assemblies as per the PDF. Let me know if you need anything else here.

Do you mind sending a PM with what they charged you?
