Holy tamole!
A bit "Brite" there... ;-)
Definitely would not be lost in the crowd!

Heck, I'll talk about guns for a bit...
I carried a Glock 19 on a couple of tours in Iraq and got to liking it. Have sent thousands of rounds downrange from what grew to a collection of Glocks with two G-19s. I gave my son a new G-19 MOS the day he graduated from Ranger school. (They carry them in regiment).
But,
Recently, I picked up a Ruger RXM. I dropped a Triticon RMR on it. Wow is all I can say. With that gun, I put the first 100 rounds through the "Bullseye" of a target. Just sayin' I think Bill Ruger has something with this gun.
I have a Gen 4 G19 and love it. I've been thinking about an RXM. They look nice. But my eye is really on 2 guns....The FN Reflex XL and the Springfield Saint Victor PDW 9mm. One day, maybe.

Maybe I need to shoot Glocks more but the only one I’ve been able to shoot comfortably was the G43. Tried a 19 and a couple others but my eyes kept doing weird things looking down the sights. To the point that within 2 mags I had noticeable eye fatigue. Focus kept going in and out between the rear corners of the slide to front sight tip on target. Only weapon that’s ever happened to me on.

For me, old habits are hard to break.
Consequently, I love shooting 1911's, Beretta 92s, and Glocks, especially the G19. I carried all three of those in the military, and have used two of them on combat deployments.
I also shoot to train to always draw the same, and deploy really, just one way. I do strong-arm training too, as a just-in-case thing. Although I own many, I shoot only a few regularly. This weekend I'm pulling out the Marlin 45/70 and my favorite AR. Even so, I plan for a long gun day, I'll still put 50 through that RXM just for good measure.

The coyotes are howling outside rn and I lowkey want to go find them. But I should really head to bed as I have work in the AM.

My wife has a Canik color matched to her Jeep.

Hows that for crossover?

Have you seen their "Miami" liveries? Day and Night liveries are kinda cool for OEM but they also do factory Hydro dipping for other camo styles. Also one of my neighbors has a HV JT, but I rarely see it out of their driveway. Base sport with soft top.

If you get a chance, and can find one (they discontinued them) try out the Elite Combat (or Elite Combat Executive), Warren fiber sight, serrated rear, red dot cutout, SAI magwell, +3 baseplate, and threaded barrel with a different twist rate. They are MINT out of the box, I've never had to adjust the sights EVER, and I've abused the HELL outta that thing. Water soaked, then not cleaned, and shot all 18 rounds without malfunction. Seen 200MPH on a motorcycle, they're Turkish Military spec, and prove their durability.

I was originally going to snag a P226 but at the time they wanted $1800+tax and no one had them in stock either. Then checked out the G19/17 and between the sights and the awkward grip, wasn't for me, and definitely not for $1200+tax. Saw the EC in FDE (ECE comes black with gold barrel) and after holding it, I couldn't pass it up, especially not for under $800 out the door. And it came with a second 15 round mag, tools, cleaning kit, quick loader, and more brand new in the case.

The comp models are running 20k round a year through them without malfunction (unless shit ammo). I've even ran +P+ through mine even though they say they're not rated for it, the comp guys also confirmed they just eat it up.

As for the "blue spring" comment, Canik customer service is fantastic. And if you want to run an ultra light or heavy round, they'll send you the correct spring free of charge for that round by request.

I'm not a brand whore, just had many great experiences with their products. Wanted one of their MC9 single stack "subcompact" models for CCW but yeah, hard to find when I wanted it.

Was thinking about snagging one, but fell out of the gun game for other hobbies. Love me a nice RMR.
