No Rubicon Red Dash

They're not the same as the Sahara panels? Looking at pics, they look the same.

It's not just the red dash, its all the red stitching in the leather as well. My plan is to get the tan leather because you get the gray dash and white stitching on everything else. I will change the seat covers and then paint the dash Hydro blue to match the truck.

Sad to have to do all that, but I Totally get it.

My wife and I went to look at JLURs today. The Firecracker Red Rubicon with the red dashboard is a big miss. Jeep messed up in making that an available combo; Firecracker Red clashes terribly with the red dashboard. I quite like the red dashboard with the white, gray, black, and silver Rubicons we saw.

I did see the brown leather interior on a black Rubicon and it was gorgeous. I have to believe that the brown leather interior with its silvery/gray dashboard is THE way to go with Firecracker Red body color. I haven't seen that pairing in person, but I bet it's stunning.

I love my red dash with Sting Gray. I can see how some colors wouldn't be so good with it though. It would be cool if you could pick your color, but that's getting pretty custom for a mass production vehicle.

I really like the red on my silver Gladiator as well. Actually one of the common compliments on the interior.

Well the sales numbers don’t lie and they have sold a zillion red dashes, most people love them, but it’s a bold design statement and I can see how some don’t like it. Funny that it was the gray dash in a loaded rubicon with tan interior that drove me to buy the LE. It doesn’t match anything, the tan interior still looks beautiful though.

I just got my Punk'n Rubicon it came with the grey dash. I was told that it would be coming with the red... Nope. I prefer the grey so it was a nice surprise. I ordered black leather interior.

I didn't like the red either , My plan was to wrap it , and then the launch became available and I jumped on that .

I'm seriously hoping this gets changed in the next model year. I'm holding out buying my Gladiator until the next model year and planned changes are announced. If it doesn't get changed then I'm getting the tan seats and then getting new Katzkin leather for the seats.

I personally like the red dash and stitches. Love that huge red locker button. It matches the red accents thrown around including the hood decal and tow hooks. It's a nice touch. But see how it would be a bit "bling" for some.
