Has anyone had a problem like this and if so, what was the cause?
I have had this into the dealer twice for this problem and the dealer cannot figure out what this is coming from and why it’s happening
THE JEEP HAS 10,700 MILES ON IT AND IS A YEAY AND 4 MONTHS OLD
Any information would be appreciated

Sometimes when it's real cold out right after it snows. I hear a noise when I hit a bump, once the truck warms up it go's away. But I to would check the spare.

The dealer should be able to use 'chassis ears' to track down where the noise is coming from.

To me, the noise sounds rubbery, meaning it sounds like a rubber bushing. If you want to try to trouble-shoot this noise yourself, I'd start by inspecting all of your suspension bushings, sway bar bushings and shock bushings. The dealer should have done this already, but you never know.

From there, you can spray each bushing - one at a time- with isopropyl alcohol to see if you can get the noise to go away. The iso alcohol acts as a rubber lubricant, then dries.

Sounds like control arm bushing noise during very cold weather.
I have had previous vehicles do this, i.e. Jeep Liberty, 98 Grand Cherokee.

if it is the squeak from the rear end as the the rear tires go over the speed bump, i would check the rear control arm bushings or the shocks/bushings. i say this because of what is moving up and down when the rear end goes over the bump.

maybe even the sway bar chassis mounts. It's definitely something with dirty/dry bushings. Also, who hits speed bumps that fast? Jesus.

Oh, remembered this one last night, don't know how I forgot about it ....

I had a squeak from the rear when going over speedbumps and large speedbump-like bumps during my first winter after getting my JTM.

It turned out to be the exhaust hangers, so check all 3 of them. Mine were super squeaky especially the colder they got. I removed them, and found that whatever assembly lube they used had dried out and made them squeaky. I cleaned them, then applied Danco Waterproof Silicone Grease (available at HD and Lowes) and re-installed them. No more squeaks.

I thought about this while posting my reply but forgot to include it. Makes complete sense considering OP can’t replicate the sound by bouncing on the bumper. Great idea.

Second on the rear control arm bushings. Usually only hear it on mine when its below 25 deg here in MA.

I noticed that mine did this also. 2021 with 40k, sport. But only during very cold weather. Had the dealership check it out and they couldn’t find it. I figured it was ice or something froze up in the suspension since I wash it allot, even up here in the northeast. I will check the hangers as well now. Thx!
