That’s Dan Grec’s JL. He is working with a guy in Canada (Michael…) who made one for himself first.

Dan is on YouTube under the name “The Road Chose Me”. He has taken various Jeeps from Alaska to Ushuaia, another one around Africa and most recently he took a Gladiator around Australia.

He’s a great guy and the real deal.

every time i see one of those i wonder how (or if) they are keeping it under legal payload.
Quite possibly under, he came out lightening the dry weight load with the composite cabin vs all the chopped off metal tub and rear seats. The build videos on the composite cabin and chopping details are interesting.
